I remember that episode that guy was pissed. I find it a little hard to believe the coins worth that much would be melted down knowing the rarity of them . There were other episodes where a gentleman come in with a rare pistol and the rest of the episode was the same way so was it really staged that many people come in with rare pistols and rear rifles I believe so.

The History Channel used to be about history. Discovery channel was about science. Both channels used to have a great reputation for both until it became about aliens gold mining crab fishing. Great shows no doubt but smfh
