  • I did it! It took a while but I’ve finally graduated from university! Both my walking stick and wheelchair made the day possible, so it wasn’t completely taken over by chronic fatigue, pain or anxiety!

Reminder: everyone with ME/CFS is different! So you or someone you know might have a very different experience with ME/CFS than I do at the moment! Also, remember that chronic conditions such as these can change dramatically over time, so my life may look very different to this in the future (and has be A LOT worse in the past).

Congratulations on graduating. The photos and the dress looked amazing. Yourself and your friends and family should be so proud of how far and how much you have achieved to get where you are. You are and should feel like an inspiration to the next generation. ❤🎉

Congratulations! Not long ago I graduated from a 5 year program that took me 8 years instead and gods, the relief of being finally done with it was enormous. I hope you will be able to rest now. Congrats once more, YOU DID IT!!!

We done Elinor 💐💐 it was a once in a lifetime thing & you did it! All your subscribers knew how hard it was for you! The walking on stage & down steps! I hope now when people see you in your wheelchair & maybe get out of it and walk a little bit they won't be nasty & think your faking it! I could see the pain in your face! You looked so pretty like a fashion model! Your parents must be so proud of you! We all are 💞💞💞

Congratulations! That's awesome! I'm hoping to finish my A.A. next year before going for a bachelors, a lot slower since I'm doing it part time only, it has been fantastic to see you talk about your own experience with it and I'm so happy for you having graduated.

Your struggle with secondary school, A-levels and a degree (being on the verge of quitting almost daily) was exactly how it was for me with my ME/CFS 😭 CONGRATULATIONS for getting through! I hope you can find fulfilment in the future and be proud of your achievement ❤

How long recovery time did you need after this? Its amazing that you did it! My graduation was before i even got a proper diagnosis so it was exhausting and chaotic.
Im so proud of you! From a fellow disabled gal!

she proved she don't need a wheelchair...... SHE JUST WANTS PEOPLE TO PUSH HER AROUND.

@@ElinorBrown well you did, because you can walk just fine with a cane you SHOWED IT ON THIS VIDEO.... A wheelchair is for someone that "cant walk" or they have really bad walking issues, which u do not. i mean at 4:34 mark in the video you are lifting a leg up and STILL STANDING which is more proof. screw off with that " i need a wheelchair because of my walking issues that i dont really need one for" tired of bad people like you. this should be a slap in the face too all the wheelchair people... i am not in one but still

    • @anamegoeshere

@@ElinorBrown also at 3:08 you walk across that platform JUST FINE WITH A CANE, SO AGAIN MORE PROOF that you don't need a wheelchair.... but i can see where mommy taught you how too lie.
