We are very nearly done with these monthly film rankings. After this, there will be only one more video. I think this has led to me thinking that I need to end this series with a bang which is why this video is VERY long and detailed. However, I hope it's still entertaining as I spend a lot of time making fun of bad movies Letterboxd in case you want more movie opinions: boxd.it/3e5fL List of films featured in this video: Dawn of the Dead (1978) The Blues Brothers (1980) Brewster’s Millions (1985) Planes, Trains and Automobiles (1987) The Nightmare Before Christmas (1993) Ed Wood (1994) Enemy of the State (1998) Final Destination 2 (2003) Final Destination 3 (2006) Inglorious Basterds (2009) The Final Destination (2009) Tangled (2010) Free Birds (2013) Parasite (2019) Sisu (2022) Guillermo del Toro’s Pinocchio (2022)
Another banging video and some great discussion on the films. Will absolutely check out Parasite and Ed Wood soon. As for what I’ve seen, it’s mostly the top half of the list. Blues Brothers and PT&A are a ton of fun, Pinocchio was fab, Tangled is super nostalgic to me, and Inglorious Basterds is one of Tarantino’s best,a genuinely phenomenal film. Free Birds is also epic as shit. Now I have seen Nightmare Before Christmas, a long time ago, and I remember really liking it at the time, but now I don’t know why I liked it, a bit like my Titanic opinion
