The exhausted drink break towards the end was super relatable 😂, seriously when I did my ranking vid, my voice got horse towards the end and you can tell. Either way, class ranking video, and it’s great to see all the different films here. I’m always mentally doing the Leo point whenever I see a favourite of mine that you got round to this year like The Apartment, Goodfellas or Reservoir Dogs

One of my favourite traditions on this channel are the yearly film rankings which I make every year within the first few weeks of January. I always have a fun time ranking every film which I saw during the previous year. However, usually I rank EVERY film I watch but this time I decided to exclusively focus on films which I watched for the first time (or the first time in a while) so that you could get fresh opinions. I can't believe that we have already completed 2024. It feels like the year came and went really quickly, at least for me it did. Either way, December is a month which is usually dominated by Christmas movies for me. However, most of said Christmas movies are rewatches which means that when looking at just the first time watches here, there's a lot more variety. I mean, we've got stone cold classics, modern hits, plenty of musicals, two Saw movies and three Alpha and Omega movies (don't let the low placements fool you, they're masterpieces). Overall, a great way to round out the year I feel Now, I'm going to repeat some potential questions that you might have... Q: Is this EVERY film you saw in December? A: Despite what I've done in previous years and in spite of what the title says, it ISN'T. This year I'm only going to be covering 'new viewings' which includes films I'm seeing for the first time ever or for the first time in a LONG while. Because I talk a lot about movies, I figured that it's nice to have a list of my absolute favourites. However, this ranking changes ALL OF THE TIME because new films are constantly added. I have not seen every film ever made and there are many acclaimed ones which I haven't yet checked out. Therefore, I decided to update this ranking after I did one at the end of last year so you can see how my opinions have changed. This video also wrks as a nice archive of what my favourites were at the end of 2024 and I can't wait to update my favourites yet again at the end of 2025 because opinions WILL change by then. Please note: This is all my subjective opinion. I wasn't ranking the films based on quality and was instead ranking them based on how much I PERSONALLY love them. Films which have had a greater impact on ME are thus rated higher. Just don't get too worked up over the order

You all know that I am a massive Film buff, however I don't often talk about TV shows on this channel with a few exceptions. This is because I don't really watch TV shows. I'm sorry but I don't always have the time for long running series unless I get really into them (in that case, I MAKE TIME). November is the worst month of the year... but that won't stop me from watching plenty of brilliant films. I mean, not all of the films here were bangers but most were great. I've seen The Vanishing (1993) multiple times. Now that I've seen this one I don't understand all the hate for the remake. It's faithful enough without being a shot-by-shot clone. I thought Bridges was a fine chilling psycho.

That was a pretty great retrospective review on DreamWorks' Puss In Boots spin-off franchise since I do love the character ever since Puss biggest debut in Shrek 2, I love the 1st Puss In Boots film and the EPIC Last Wish film as well, I also remember that I used to enjoy the Netflix animated show as well although to this day I'm still mad they really removed the entire show from that streaming service, my favorite characters from the television show is Dulcinea, Esme, Artephius and you maybe surprise but I like Señora Zapata (I don't blame you for hating Zapata as I fully respect your opinion man. 👍🏼😅) This was an great video man!

PLEASE NOTE: This video was first created back in early 2020 (pre-pandemic) when the Timeless Child twist was first revealed. It doesn’t reflect my current thoughts on it. Nowadays, I don’t really care. I’m annoyed that it wasn’t fleshed out better (ironically enough, RTD did a better job at expanding this plotline than Chibnall did) but it’s no longer the huge, devastating insult to me that it used to feel like. The only reason I made this video public again after a long time of it being unlisted is because I find this clip really funny and a friend dared me to make it public again
