ASMR Baking: Red Lobster Style Cheddar Bay Biscuits

Do you know the way to Cheddar Bay? These are a copycat version of the famous Cheddar Bay Biscuits. They obviously aren't the real Red Lobster recipe, which is guarded by The Lobster King himself, deep in the Mariana Trench. But my husband grew up going to Red Lobster and loves these biscuits, so I do my best. For relaxation, please consider using headphones.

your certainly a person who has experience in sound engineering, I've never heard audio for ASMR sound so isolated and crisp, amazing stuff!!

It absolutely breaks my heart to know that people can be so atrocious as to drive Spring away from this community and away from what she loves, and ultimately helping people through her videos. Shame on those who were part of that. We miss you dearly, Spring.

@@Reg_A She was actually being stalked. First, she became the target of these relentless trolls---really slimy, sexist scumbags---who were polluting her comment threads with ugly, dirty, embarrassing discussions about her, then she became a real life target of harassment....I don't think the two things were connected, but the stalking definitely came out of her ASMR work (at least that is how she presented it....There was a very sad, awful "farewell" video in 2017 in which she spoke at length about all of this and you could see how wounded and shattered she was by it....It was apparently going on for quite some time, but she never let her subscribers know that anything was wrong, then some event happened that really pushed things over the edge (I am not sure what) and she felt she could no longer could be an ASMRtist but rather than just disappear, she wanted her loyal subscribers to know the backstory....Then she vanished for a time, reappeared with a few more new vids in which you only hear her voice (she no longer felt comfortable sharing her image), than she vanished for good, at which point the word that she was going to have a baby somehow got out, so the assumption is that she has been busy for the last 5-6 years being a mom...Her "farewell" vid has been deleted from her channel, but was circulated for a while by a subscriber who knew people were really curious about her story, then the subscriber was asked to take it down, and they did, and it is just as well because it is really angering and heartbreaking....I hope she knows how truly loved she was and how devoted the vast majority of her audience was (still are!), and how they would love to see her make a "comeback"....

I worked at Red Lobster for several years. Great place, decent food, amazing biscuits - worth visiting every one to three years.

Springbok ASMR - I made these biscuits over the weekend for my family!!! I have to tell you that everyone said they loved them, and that they thought they compared very well with Red Lobster's. I made them to accompany Shrimp Scampi and Garlic Mashed Potatoes! Again, they where delicious! Thanks for the recipe!

My mother is adamant that the butter needs to be put in the freezer before you make them, not frozen but around 45 mins in there. Also we use thyme and sage instead of traditional old bay seasoning. And yes of course we still call them red lobster biscuits when we serve them even though it's been years since we've been to one

You are seriously the best ASMR artist. I have not yet found your equal and I have looked. There are other good artists but they all have at least one thing that just bugs the hell out of me. I know when I watch/listen to a springbok vid it will be relaxing throughout. No weird habits, no annoying background noise and no big long life story explanation in every video. You're straight to business - making your audience chill out or go to sleep. I'm so happy I found this channel.

I've been remarried since before I ever made my first video :D My first marriage I was very, very young and neither of us were ready. I was divorced by my early twenties--we both grew up and grew apart. Anyway, my husband and I have been together for a long time and were married a few years ago. He's the most compassionate, cool, and darling person I know. Sorry for any confusion. I did make a video about my divorce a while back, because a viewer was going through a really hard divorce and I wanted to share anything helpful I could think of. But I think it confused some people. So thanks for asking and for being so sweet.

FYI you can get them pretty cheaply on eBay. Most of Modcloth's non-exclusive items are from general wholesale companies so you can find them for a fraction of the price on sites like eBay or Aliexpress. I see they have a cat mug on their site now listed for $15 that I bought on eBay for $4.
