I first watched this video so very many years ago & dreamed then of going on a similar trip to Japan. I’ve returned to it countless times since. Now, I’ll be checking into a ryokan with a private onsen in just two weeks :) You’re so very missed, Nichole!

Doc Marten boots are very heavy and clompy, so you always hear someone walking around if they're wearing them. You can't sneak up on anyone in those boots!
Dr. Martin's boots were made popular in the early 80's by Skinheads. Also great for mosh pits when things get violent. But that was a long time ago.
Nope, Doc Martens were made popular in the late 60's early 70's by proper skinheads.
I was thinking more of the song "Dr. Marten's Boots" as mentioned on "The Young Ones." I was born in 1965. We used to call them Clodhoppers when I was young. Wonder if John Denver ever wore them?

Of all the ASMR roleplays, you do these the best. Not just the best of your videos, but I think you do these the best in the entire ASMR community. You are my go to artist for these types of "check in" roleplays. They are fantastic.

I liked the marble palace theme onsen! All the people walking around with their wood shoes clopping on the cobblestone at night, it was amazing. Also, a guy slapped my belly and I slapped his back and we laughed. Universal gesture for “you gotta lose a few buddy” lol.
Overwhelmingly excited that you continued the Hotel Check-In 'series'. ( Or at least, now it can be called one. )
The first one is probably my go-to video, but I have feeling this will soon be a contender.

I sincerely hope it brings you some relaxation and you enjoy your stay :D I think it's fun to base the hotels on real places, and I highly recommend a visit to Kinosaki for anyone who can. You should do a roleplay where your giving a tour of a vault in Fallout. Not in the game but rather you could check us into a vault in a similar way to this video. :)
I always come back to this perfect check in role play, because you can both relax me and take me to this beautiful place I have never been to...
