I just picked up Stardew Valley a couple days ago from the Humble Monthly Bundle, and it has been a lot of fun just going at my own pace without worrying about paying off a mortgage or anything like in Harvest Moon. Much more relaxing and enjoyable knowing that you can do things as you care to, and if you miss something it'll be around next year cycle to catch up on.
I really don't play these types of games or like them very much, BUT I seem to find it quite relaxing and calming watching you play them!!!! You make it look kind of fun...
