If your device is not detected, don't rack your brains, it's not your fault. It's Xpen's fault. The program is extremely bugged. Suddenly, the device stopped detecting, I updated the drivers, reinstalled the drivers, tried changing the adapters, plugged the device directly into the wall, until finally reconnecting it to the pc using the same adapter from the beginning... Now if it works again. If only it was just me... But a friend spent 2 hours trying to get his device detected, there are also people on forums complaining about the same thing. Installing an Xpen tablet is rolling the dice and getting a 6 to install correctly.
Lol im doing the exact same thing. based on your comment. I unplug the power and plug it again, and its working now.. how the hell the "power" is the problem with the exact same cable hahaha. anyway thankyou
Ay Just A head up, Mine didn't work because I was using the extension chord for the usb that they provided, apparently it breaks it, You need to connect the black usb directly to your pc

I set just got it all running yesterday. I even tried squiggling some lines here and there. Everything was running nicely. Just now, I woke up excited to try and draw but today, the xp pen app says “connect the device first”. Even tho the device is already connected & is displaying everything from my pc smoothly. The pen also won’t work. I tried everything mentioned in this video😢
POSSIBLE FIX: If you downloaded all drivers and upon opening the PenTablet app you're greeted with a message that says "Hello, please connect device.", unplug your tablets power cable and plug it back in. I'm using the Artist 22R Pro and this happens to me sometimes.

Ok so I've got a completely different problem that happens with gaming towers. I got a gaming tower to be able to play games and for a long time everything was fine. Like for 2 month. I've had the tablet for 5 ish years still working, but there seems to be something that happens that causes my computer to get buggy. And it's weird because what happens is if I just hold the control key my menu for shutting down/searching starts spazzing the hell out and if I try to click it to shut down or restart it IMMEDIATELY throws the window down so I'm force to shut off the computer by power button. I returned that and got a better one again work beautifully for 2 or so month and now it's doing it again. I found that it's one of the cords that plugs into the USB port in the tower and the trapezoid ish shape that hooks to the tablet. What I don't get is why does this happen AFTER 2 or so months of active use. I hear a ding ding ish sound too so I knew right away when it pulled this shit. I don't get why it doesn't do it on a old as heck office computer. But on the high quality gaming PC. The PC runs windows so it makes even less sense. To add to that I have a none screen xp pen tablet that I have also used consistently and this issue doesn't occur with that it's just that cable and I need that to get the tower to read the tablet. And then I literally just got Laptop and it does it on that too. When this issue occured I had to use that old office tower again and didn't run into this. I don't even know if I can just get a new cord or if there's anything wrong with the cord cuz it always works for 2 months and then does this. I have no idea what to do
Problem is that the website no longer displays these older versions, at least for mine which I use a Artist 13.3. The only drivers that appear are the newest ones and nothing from older versions at all

Ok, Im not an IT professional but I unplugged all the cables, I stopped using the power adapter and plugged the HDMI and BOTH USB cables. It is working, I just have to disable WIndows Ink.
Make sure you connected the right USB to the right thing. There are 2 black usb cables, one is for the wall charger and the other is for your laptop. Make sure you have the right one plugged in your laptop because for me, I had them switched.

heads up if youre a dummy like me please make sure that all cords are plugged in before looking for a fix... i accidently had my black plug unplugged while the red one was on. red is just the power while the black is the actual meat and potatos
@@toluo9175 as a matter of fact still says "no signal". Found a December 2021 zip file of the driver but that might be too old. I don't have Win11. Going to try rolling back to the August 2021 version shortly
@@toluo9175 still getting "no signal" from the tablet screen. Doesn't make sense because the Alien recognizes that the tablet is plugged in ... if it needs direct power from the wall, no can do. The PC and monitor also require direct power. These manufacturers ... idk

Tech support said without much testing that its "hardware" fault but I dont want to give up as yet since i hardly used it since i bought it 2 years ago. For Mac there is are only 2 drivers ( Aug and July ) for Mac 10 to 13. Any ideas how i can troubleshoot ?
I just bought an XPPen Artist Pro 14 (2nd Gen) and it gives me the no signal error. I tried everything tech support has to offer so then I tried your video. Sigh... it did not work. Your video was very well done, though, so thank you for the effort. I guess this piece of junk will go back and I will save up until I can afford a Wacom.
The problem is, they don't give you the older drivers anymore, you have to contact the fucking shitty support they have and go back and forth with them until they give you the correct drivers, terrible company
I had this issue for about an hour or so, tried plugging the usb in every orientation and installing different drivers, however what fixed it for me was uninstalling the driver, unplugging the USB-C cable, and then reinstalling the drivers and then plugging it back in, worked immediately after that
@@danismemes8787 Do you have both USBs plugged in? For me it wound up being that I had the wall USB plugged in, the HDMI and tablet plugged in, but I had forgotten to connect the USB that use the drivers. (Make sure the one meant for the wall goes in the wall, do NOT put it in your computer, that can damage your power supply.)

make sure you have the usb cables plugged in correctly. The power usb to the brick, the other one to the computer.

I contacted customer support and they gave me the link to download the older 1.6.4 driver
