XP Pen Display Power Settings Solved!

- XP-Pen pen display and tablet users on Windows may experience their stylus pen becoming unresponsive intermittently. After some research and troubleshooting, I have found what seems to be the solution.
Go to Windows' Power Options settings and change your USB Selective Suspend setting to "Disabled.

Had this issue with a Wacom drawing tablet and out of nowhere this started giving me a headache where the Pen would not register the first part of some strokes. This fix worked instantly. Thank you so much

thank you so much sir! i came here because my artist pro 16 screen started flickering and this fixed my issue! god bless you. if anyone is curious to what i did , i changed the power setting to "best preformance" and i updated my usb drivers. I hope this helps!

Thank you for the video! The screen was flickering on my Innovator 16 and when it wasn't, the screen was barely visible. This seemed to have fixed those
I redid the USB setting, but it still didn't read my pen. Unplugged and replugged the USB and we're back online. This is such a weird bug to me. Here's hoping changing the setting keeps this from happening again. Thanks for your help!!

it's because your usb need more power remove some unnecessary to your pc then you good to go trust me i already try millions of method on this then i found that final solution

I just intalled something in my pc and I know it's the usb cable fault. Maybe it's a bit loose I dont know. Too lazy to open it up so I'm here and this works great!!
Ah yes I’ve found my fucking savior. Jesus first time xp pen user here with a dual monitor set up and no joke I was about to crash out because it shouldn’t be this frustrating having to reset this.
had this problem a few times - and hope this solution works . well hope to never see the problem again if this solution works
well new problem and how i found this tutorial is because my screen suddenly (morning it works - then night time does) - where the screen is in a gray tone - and no windows that I pull in to that screen is showing anything.
going to windows table to identify each windows (1,2,3) does work to show it knows there is a xpen there, but doesnt show the number and doesnt show anything.
a friend said its maybe the HDMI suddenly stop working but it will be a cost to find a replacement to test this theory out.
While you were talking about your quick fix, I tried it also: simply unplugged the XP Pen at the tablet itself, plugged it back in... and now it's reading my stylus again when it didnt register AT ALL. The weirdest part is that I actually just turned on my PC, and yet it didn't work at all... thank you so much for this. EDIT: Never mind. I changed the setting you showed to "disabled" and shortly thereafter my stylus stopped being detected.

Calibrating pen on the tablet might also help
what about it going to the wrong monitor when drawing Directly on the Display tablet
I don’t have usb settings in mine mine under balance performance which the only one listed

My 15.6 just shows No Signals and then Power Saving and then nothing.
I can use the pen but my PC doesn't seem to detect the tablet, I have to draw with the main monitor, which annoys me.
It seems there are many various versions of the Windows OS - not sure why or how this feature can be available for some and not others. Weird.

@@valegalan3822 My problem is that I don't have a second hdmi port that connects to the graphics card.
The solution to my problem would be to connect my tablet to the graphics card (But the place is already taken by my main screen)

Hey this is a great tip, but not fixed for me, also I updated all driver, re-connected usb and restarted and nothing.. It fixed when I unplugued and replugued the tablet from power dc!

My pen registers pressure but nothing else - it won’t drag or click at all 😢
for some reason my 15.6 pro wont connect to the lap top even when all the cables are attached and would just say that it can't find a connection yet when i press the pen to the tablet it'll suddenly start showing up on the laptop. but nothing will display on the tablet. would this solution work for that issue as well or do i replace the cable? ive had this thing for about 2 years and haven't had a problem till now

Same issue here. It was working find when I got it. All drivers are updated, windows is updated and I'm not running any anti-virus and did what this dude did too and still same issue. I've restarted,unplugged and re plugged every connection I can find and double checked everything is in place. I have a pc and the extra power cable so I don't understand the issue. I have an hdmi to USB adapter but I've never had issues with it and it still works. This is driving me nuts as I take commissions and what not so I need it to work. I'll play around and see if I manage to make it work

I'm guessing it was a power issue with the cable or a faulty connection as I ended up upgrading to a bigger one anyways and just used that cable and it worked fine again. I would recommend contacting customer support tho, they may be able to help you in getting new adapters and cables if needed or helping you in the process :)

this is the exact problem i'm having and it's so frustrating! unfortunately this didn't work for me. I don't think their drivers are very compatible with Windows 10.
It could be the issue. I recall there were 2 different drivers - one was named "UI Driver" and it's unclear if one, or both need to be installed. That could be the issue.
So my display screen on the tablet turns on but after like a second it turns off, but It still registers my pen and i can use it but the screen is off. What can i do?

@@candyrushsweetest So my issue was that i had a faulty cable for the whole thing. And i ended up getting a new one and my issues stopped.
My Artist 13.3 pro is shows no signal on the screen when powered on and it appears as a keyboard on my connected devices. please help

Tricky! I'm on a Mac also (since this video was made) and I'm looking for any kind of power settings for USB-C devices.

Doesn’t work meaning it won’t turn on? Open unresponsive? Reinstall drivers?

I use Xp Pen Star 03 v2. My stylus stopped working overnight. I wish this helped (went there from support comments)... The tablet itself works, but the stylus doesn't. I tried everything. Changing cables, different USB ports, even changing the pen tip, but nothing seems to work. Anyone knows what might be the problem?
Hard to say without seeing your sys specs and if you're fully updated. Reboot? I'm sure you did. Uninstall/reinstall XP-Pen drivers?
@@keyframer.I just realized this. I think that I may have possibly damaged the tablet bc I unintentionaly bent it (it fell behind my bed but got stuck between the bed, wall and railing, which bent it). By tablet working, I mean the buttons, the part that you draw on probably sustained damage. My parents are gonna kill me...

Hello guys! Maybe someone can help me. I bought xp pen artist 22 pro, first couple of weeks was working fine (using with laptop). But then screen just stopped showing the image (black screen). But touchscreen is working good you can draw , only you will need to watch on laptop screen cuz xp pen screen is black. Mb something in setting i can doo something, but only i don't know what exactly. :(
Hmmm, are you using the HDMI cable that came with the display? Try testing with another one of you have one.
@@keyframer. with original and with new another one , not working (even no "no signal'). I buy a VGA to HDMI cable, tomorrow ill check , maybe the problem is in hdmi input. And maybe with VGA will work.

So the problem is that when the tablet starts to heat up slightly, after 40 min ~ of work.
there are little glitches every 2 seconds and it's really annoying

I’d get some compressed air and blow out any dust. Also try putting a small fan on it from behind to see if that helps
it didnt help at all idk whats wrong with my tablet and pen everything seems fine until i start using it the light on the tablet comes on when the pen is detected but still nothing shows

@@keyframer. this is my problem! i have just got my tablet out for the first time in ages and its all fine, however the pen will not draw or actually press anything, and nor will my finger. it still displays as usual and the tablet recognises the pen is there and the cursor comes up near the pen, however it doesnt actually press or do anything!! dont know what to do and the new windows settings means i cant find these in your video :(

@@keyframer. yep i re installed the latest driver, restarted my laptop and my tablet and it still doesnt work. its annoying since the tablet can detect my pen but i cant actually touch anything on the screen, draw, or use my finger :(

I am getting this No signal Power Saving and it is driving me crazy!! The cables are okay, I tested it at my mother's notebook so I realize the problem it is at my notebook. I am trying to solve it but I am angry. And like, It was working, than I just restarted the notebook and now its not working anymore. AHHHH
Have you run all updates to your OS?
@@keyframer. Just went to techinical and he just put the drive back to it's factory setting. It worked '-' I am feeling dumb ahhahah 40R$ was paid for this ahhah

I bought my xp 24 in and a month later damn pen wont work actually both pens dont work in photoshop and if it its for a sec very aggravating. Now i wish i new these issues before buying it i wouldve went for waccom or something better. You get what u pay for and i paid for a piece of shit so i guess its fare i get shit quality.
Sorry to hear that. Wacom drivers are notoriously buggy. The fact that both your pens don’t work means it’s an issue elsewhere.
@@keyframer. Yeah major disappointment. For about 2 yrs watched animators use it couldnt afford it was able to save up for it. Then i get kicked in the nut by XP. ty for info about Wacom. Back to my dependable mouse.
