Thanks for the video! Recently gonna get into rc hobby, i have been a fan of rc for over 5 years but never get the chance to get one. This video helped greatly, probably gonna get slash
Good beginner cars. I’ve owned all those at one time or another. Get into nitro. It’s not the popular thing anymore but the sound, smell and brute force of a nitro is awesome. Plus the power is more controllable than the brushless setups.
Not sure if this has been solved, but with the screw backing out. In the suspension arm. I solved the problem with threading the screw in from the other side. Fresh plastic for the threads. It seems to be working well on my rustler ultimate.
Thanks for the video. I am new to the RC hobby and hope to have the 2WD Bandit and Stampede by the end of the week 🤞🏾.. Unfortunately I missed out on the 2WD Rustler because it sold prior
Got my Traxxas 2WD Bandit yesterday and it's almost mint condition. So impressed :) The Traxxas 2WD Stampede is a bit older and uses the older style batteries & charger but still very excited. Just can't take the Stampede out in the snow or wet conditions because electronics are not waterproof for this version.
Which one do you manly use cuz I have the original bandit also the 2wd rustler I use my rustler for my daily driver I went through some changes on the rustler I recently added a wheelie bar also a light kit for some nite time bashing plus added grippy tires & the bandit I'm upgrading it to make it a drift car on my bandit I have the anaconda tires etc thanks young man for sharing your amazing collection 👊🏁👏
Thanks! I normally use my rustler, but they are all really reliable, ive been doing a lot of durability upgrades for it, like rpm and new tires, so you should check out some more videos on it!
Which one out of the four in your opinion would be good first hobby rc for my 7, and 4 year olds boys? They’ve had plenty of cheap rcs but they want one like their dads, Stampede VXL, but we are going to start with the brushed. Im not sure which one would be best, probably the stampede, or maybe ever a slash or a rustler, cause we will be doing a lot of off-roading.
Do all the the Traxxas 2WD brushed XL-5 cars always need to have the blue antenna stick out of the body shell? Or can you keep them under the body shell when driving? thx
I'm curious as im looking into getting a traxxas, why so many 2wd's and no 4x4's? Seems like you must have a reason for doing that. I like 4x4 performance but I can attest to having to replace parts alot on behalf of the 4x4 system in my vehicles.
We just wanted to have all the 2wd's, we thought that would be cool. It's also nice to be able to exchange parts sometimes. And, the 2wd's are cheaper and don't break as much. Honestly, if I didn't have the channel I'd only want one of them, it wouldn't be worth it to get them all. But we got them with this video in mind, just to compare them. It's hard to choose between 4x4 and 2wd, I like them both.
Out of the 4 you showed which one would get if you had only to choose the one ? I myself am looking at these models one to start with leaning towards the slash or the rustler, but if you had one choice which would rather have ?
Out of all them the bandit was the best one I have that I got 2 years ago n haven't had to replace parts on but tires every 2 months n the slash I isn't bad but I traded my stampede chassis for a slash chassis to a friend n build my own but the ruster break alot everytime it was took out but the stampede was strong other then the body
I had bought a Wltoys 144001 before and the speed was really good for a brushed motor and can take 3s, but the durability and handling at high speeds was just terrible. I also agree, don't buy a Wltoys. Pay the extra 100 or so for a Traxxas. Parts are pretty expensive too for the Wltoys

Alright I might try it!
Nitros don’t have brute force they don’t create close as much as an electric
@@adamwicked7854 they create a fun factor that’s better then electric. Just my opinion
You did a good job, nice video!

Great video super helpful bud 👍🏼👍🏼
Exactly!
I have Wltoys 144001 is an awesome little car but VERY fragile.
you spent 800 dollars on those. Id rather just keep one rc car but thanks for your sacrifice to review these cars. duuude im about t cry
Nice comparison video. Useful for a newbie like me. 🙂
Glad it was helpful!

Sorry for the late reply if you are going to be off roaring I recommend a 4x4 brushed or a s
Stampede. They make a stamped 4x4 brushed with led
👑 stampede king 💪👑
Great cars mate ‘
I have the traxxas Bigfoot that I converted to brushless and the only thing I've broke was the caster blocks
Good 😊
Thanks 😊
Traxxas power up program exchange your old esc /moter half the price of buying alone

Yeah the bandit is very durable but I feel like it's not as capable as the others.
3:23 thats probably cuz u drive them on the street a lot
hey fun fact: the bandit is actully the same as the rustler only the shell is diffrent
nah the bandit is much skinnier

I have a wltoys 1:18 scale and love that little car. 10/10 would buy again
@@dislikebutton5291 Good car, but the 1:18 scale is too small for me. Its nice for indoors but in my opinion its too small for grass and outdoors.
I disagree with all these I feel like these only happen to beginner drivers if you have experience with these trucks you should be fine
Don’t go nitro I used to race nitro years ago but electric is where it’s at I still have all my nitros but my stampede and rustler will smoke a nitro
