    Instead of using the lighter. Just tap the glass down onto the table surface. Not too hard because it’s glass. But hold your glass as your about to drink it and bang the bottom/ base of the glass (NOT at an angle just straight down) onto the table surface. Bubbles should disappear on first strike. Love your vids. Am binge watching them all now >

    I used to love ordering this in cafes or wherever I can get it during hot summer days in Japan. Yes it was specifically invented to get through the hot humid season. So Japanses
    have been eating this concoction for 50 years or more.
    They are usually diced rather than filling the cup like this but at home this is perfectly fine.
