Bro. I want to lower my 2000 Chevy Tahoe. 2/4 drop the bell tech drop kit is that a good kit? Also what shocks should I go with if I want no body roll I want the sportiest feel .
The street performance shocks are good, many people dont like em not sure why? But for body roll i would upgrade sway bars, thats what im doing when they get back in stock. Also the adjustable panhard bar is coming anytime soon, thats gonna help me a little on body roll & tucking back in one tire that sticks out more than the other
wassup boss. clean ranfla. want to drop my 02 yukon denali. i want to go with 26's but want advice oh what kit would be best. dont want any rubbing. or should i go with 24's? did you have to do the free travel mod? keep the good content comin.
So right now i have a 3/4 drop from belltech, i did a 3/4 instead of a 3/5 since i am adding hundreds of pounds to the rear because of car audio... Will drop to a 3/5 for sure or a little more. but if you wont be adding weight i would go with a 3/5 from norcal i believe. Will give you a dropped leveled look. Also 24s i think you can still rub very little. I will be doing 26s on mine. Just have to get the right tires for them. 26s will still rub but not too bad so they say in a group i am. & yes bro free travel mod was done.
@@SleepyBoiii thanks bro. i will be adding some 12's eventually. so what drop kit would be recommended? just lowering shocks and springs, or spindles shocks , relocation bracket,
Thanks Bro 💯 & They Rub A Little On The Front & Sometimes Rear Since The Tires Are Pretty Big. But Overall Its No Big Deal Everything Is Going Good As It Should 💪
@@nep639 I changed my 24s to 22s , saw some OEM wheels that i liked from chevy.. Still havent dropped it but i have a friend who does drop kits & no one every said anything about wheels running . You can ask my homie : IG @markos_suspsension
Yo I just got myself a 05 Yukon Denali I almost bought the XL and I probably should’ve went with that one it was cheaper and a private seller But I can’t wait to get some 24” oh 26” but I got mad work to do mostly all the usual suspension things and a full tune up
@@SleepyBoiii they do look good To be honest I just want to make it run good and do a little custom work to it it’s a good base to start with it just needs some attention
@@SleepyBoiii how wide are the wheels? I have those same size tires on my 02 and they rub inside on the fender shrouds quite a bit, wearing them down completely, turning both ways, my wheels are 10" or might be 10.5" wide.
Thanks man, if I had to do it again I'd try the 285 tires, though I wouldn't get the curb protection that the 305s give. What do you do about bump stops in the front? I have some questions, I bought a used one already lowered but I don't think it was done right. You have IG or something I can message you on?
Holds up really well, tbh i only got this drop since i knew my car audio system would only add more weight & drop my rear & a lil lower. If i didnt have a car audio system i would drop this down to a 4/6
I would of took us 2 days. It took us like 4 though. We would work on it after me & pops got out of work. Plus i decided to change all 4 ball joints so that took a little more time
If its just rubbing a little i would leave it as it is. I didnt cut no plastic on mine. As long as you can do good turns when driving it should be all good

Dude this gave me so much inspiration for my Tahoe same color. And definitely convinced me to go with the gmc snowflake wheels
Do you have the link for the kit?

Do you the part number for the shocks?
So what exactly do i need to get for the fronts to lower from 2-3 inches
Spindles , drop shocks & drop keys drops your front, upgrade lower control arms to fix camber

Hey boss did you use drop shocks with extenders or did your use the 2-4 inch drop shocks with shocks extenders?
Yes i used both, this kit came with new drop springs & also shock extenders
So are your shock just drops shocks or shocks that’s are 2-4 inch drop shocks if that makes sense
@@douglasgarcia2731 sorry i misread your comment the first time. But they are drop shocks with shock extenders.
Your good bro I was just trying to make sure if they were just regular drops shocks for your year or drop shocks that’s where 2-4 inch for your year
Did you have to do the free travel mod in the back so it didn’t bottom out or no
Yes i did the free travel mod
What did you use to drop your truck from the back
Belltech drop kit, i got lowering springs/shocks , with shock extenders & also the weight of my car audio
