OK for a non runner not bad just remember one thing make sure you get some dealer recommended spark plug cables because that will help with the arking issue that they are known for which gives you engine errors but far from that it should run without an issue unless The fuel tank is completely shot

I really miss my white 85 TA. Hood was a mile long and the seats seemed way too low, even being 6'3" myself, but I loved that beastie anyway. I had custom ground effects that weren't tacky too.

$1,500? Even for a non running GTA that is a steal. Makes me think the seller doesn't know how much these are going for nowadays. I'd also be skeptical if it really has been 350 swapped. So many people say that but when you look under the hood it looks bone stock.

It’s a steal until we run into a major problem. I’ve learned over the years to leave myself room. Last car I paid up for and the engine blew on my way home lol .

Just bought a clean, garage kept 88 GTA with a 5 speed in gunmetal gray. It is definitely fun and a blast. Would like to see what you do with the Trans Am.

I have a similar car like this, a black 89 firebird formula with the 5-speed, if you decide to sell your GTA I might be interested.

I do not understand why the dealer did not have a battery or a jump pack, & basic diagnostic equipment to really check out any of the vehicles he purchases, simple tests would let em know exactly what the starting issue is on the GTA. Put power to it & use a multimeter & check continuity.
