Thanks for showing these. Not a big fan of that era of Firebirds around 79 and 80 and beyond until you get up to the end of the run. But it does bring back memories. I had a friend that really love those rim chargers. Thanks for the education on the 74 and a half. That's a nice looking truck with a lot of upside potential. Green car and Blue car future VIDEOS, looking forward to seeing them. 1975 forward for the bigger wrap around rear window on Camero. I believe the same for the firebird. Liked the old tow truck at about a minute or so. 👍
I’m 38, live in Milwaukee, my godmother had 2 Trans Am Firebirds when I was growing up (not exactly sure what years), and my mom had a ‘70 Coronet. I always loved cars so I married a mechanic and he rebuilds transmissions. I go to junkyards around Wisconsin often. I would love to find a ‘70’s Trans Am someday and fix it up. My husband is a GMC/Chevy truck guy. He wants an old C10 someday. Very cool video 😊
That turbo TA needs to be saved asap! Its still in good enough condition to fix. Although its got all the stupid smog stuff to deal with. It would be a project for sure. But the parts are easy to find and are cheap. Not sure if the turbo option parts would be cheap if you can even find em. But it looks complete.
my first car was a 1980 Trans Am Indy Pace car like the at 1:45. ( it's a 1980 not 1981). Engine lacked any kind of legendary Trans Am performance, but that thing would turn on a dime even at high speeds with that WS-6 handling package.
Trans Am 2 is a '74 -- '74-78 tails, small rear window. Some decent Birds there. TA #3 is a '80 Turbo Indy Pace Car. Is he selling any of those, or are they part-out only?
Sad that "the owner" wont allow people in, don't know how I missed this video but sure wish they would allow people to buy them and put them back on the road with some rebuild love. Sure hope you will help TA Depot get in contact.
No, the first one in the introduction is a 1980 (not 1981) Pace Car. The rims are wrong, they should be white, not silver. Correct, smaller rear window is through the 1974 model year. 1975-1981 has the larger rear window. The Skybird was available from 1977-1978. You could get a Redbird in 1978-1979 and then a Yellowbird in 1980. They were catered towards women drivers because of the softer colors and fabrics.
@@AutoArchaeology I have a 1977 Sky Bird, an ongoing project. If that one is not restored in its own right it would likely provide some really appreciated parts! 🐦🔹💙🔹🐦
Hey I've talked to you before I have the formula s barracuda and others I ran across this guy who thinks he has a wind tunnel car it's a 71 charger I think gonna try to send you picture of it maybe you can help us figure it out I can get you in contact with him to
It’s neat to see a sky bird never seen one in person but my project car is a 80 red bird
That turbo ta looks like it has 10th anniversary package stuff, a rare bird. Pun intended.
It has the wrong rims. They should be white, not silver.
The pace car was still not in bad shape seen a lot worse fixed back thanks for sharing great content as always
Back in 2004 my pop and I purchased a mint 1981 Turbo Trans Am with t-tops with 83k miles. I'm glad we never sold it! Still has 83k miles too.
Very nice!
Cool stuff and I do remember the Sky Bird with it's light blue paint and blue accents. Lots of cool stuff there. Wish we could save them all!!!

Not right now, we're hoping in the future.
He’s waiting for them to get junkier 😂
Good morning,it's now ,7,47 and if and when are the cars going to be for sale
I can't believe what you're going through with the blue Challenger. Three months? That's just nuts.
The strike just pushed everything back.
@@AutoArchaeology That sucks, my friend.
Yup yup

This is the second video where folks don't know how to pronounce
" esprit" it's pronounced...
Eh- spree....little friendly FYI..!😊
I have a few 3rd gens. I've owned these my whole life. Are any for sale??? I'd love to own another 2nd gen again!
my favorit pontiac, second generation
Those TA mudflaps are hard to find and expensive if you do!!
It's pronounced eh-spree or es-pree if that makes it easier.
There are parts off that Nash Metropolitan that I could use for the 2 that I have. How do we get contact with the owner?
Once the owner opens it to the public I can share where it is
Where is it located? Interested in 80 pace car

Cool
How do you find all these places ? 👍
I was invited to check this one out.

A real 301 turbo? 🤮 I never thought malaise era smog junk would someday be desirable 😆
Surprisingly so!
Try buying a good one now, especially a Pace Car or a Nascar edition.
Is owner interested in selling any TAs
301 was the worst 🤬
double iron duke
This makes me sick seeing all these trans ams like this man I wish I could buy them all and fix them
I’d like to buy pace car
Yawn………. They were unremarkable new,and not worth restoring
I am genuinely curious, what makes an automobile truly remarkable to you? My best wishes for 2024! 😁
