the future aint so bad with being able to mod the game on pc and play it on pc. also I am currently trying to get all languages of the game (jsrf ) dumped into xbe files so everyone can enjoy on pc. the community is still running strong
What I love most about jsr is that sega came out with a game tagging everything in graffiti right before nintendo released a game about cleaning up graffiti in creative ways.
Hideki Naganuma did say it would have to been new talent who works on the next Jet Set Radio game. Since that's what most of the creators were when they made JSR & JSRF, new talent.

It's really down to the original Jet Set Radio just being more recognizable for the general audience. Which sucks because Future is fantastic and when it does get attention, it's a relief that they didn't forget

I agree with you, especially because the roster was more unique and fun in the first game. I would love Transformed more if all the roster from the last game were used, plus if the new All Stars had that cinematic quality from the original. The racecourses are amazing though, and I was glad to see that more franchises got representation (still disappointed that some IPs like Streets of Rage, Phantasy Star, Toe Jam and Earl, Bayonetta, Yakuza, and others have not appeared though)

They obviously did. Highway Zero is nowhere present in the map in Sega and all stars racing, Why is JSRF yoyo in a Classic JSR map in All stars racing transformed?! And why is a classic beat portrait in Shibuya Downtown? also why did they add beta assets for the JSRF Maps when they cut them out in the final build? also the statue is not really the ancestor of Goji Rokkaku as that statue reuses the Goji model from the Classic and not whatever or whoever the fuck that is.
