Welcome back mama! You're proof that everything works out eventually. No need to rush or force things just because others are doing it. 👏🏾👏🏾Personally for me when I decide to do something I prepare myself psychologicalky and do a thorough research about it so that nothing catches me by surprise. When I moved countries, it took me 3 years of constant research ndio nisipigwe na butwaa😂😂, bado nililigwa nayo but not as much as people who were moving cold turkey and no research at all. I knew what to expect from loneliness to winter depression to racism to culture shock, high cost of living and home sickness all of it. Same for pregnancy, I do as much research as possible like listening to other women's experience, and I know I'll be ready when I exhaust all the information that is available from friends and the Internet. That's how I'm able to reduce my anxiety by hoping for the best and expecting and preparing for the worst. It also helps me to manifest a smoother journey because I know I deserve it.
I hear people saying "mimba sio ugonjwa" and am like, "talk about your own experience coz some of us "mimba ni ugonjwa" my both pregnancies were very hectic and the second one was the worst. Am lucky and blessed that am alive today. Congratulations once again muthoni.
My craving was water can you imagine??🤔 I always wanted to crave for pizza, chicken, ice cream, chips like good stuff but I could only drink water like 5 litres aday and 2 litres at night, I could cry for water in the middle of the night . Pregnancy is crazy 🤣🤣🤣 congratulations Mama Zen
Congratulations muthoni on your little bundle of joy ..while you were away we continued working on the better versions of ourselves I can feel the growth, you first introduced me to self awareness journey and I am a totally different person for sure
Congratulations new mum❤❤ Hapo kwa breastfeeding was tough on me. Was bullied i didnt have breast milk, hapo kwa support pia its necessary i found myself with a negative people. All in all am here now
Because of vomiting i experienced too much abdominal pain n was almost to a miscourage n resulted to bedrest my pregnancy wueh the doctor told me its 50...50 the child can survive or not in 5months old but i obeyed whatever i was told n prayed now he's 10 yrs but i fear getting pregnant again
Your journey gives me hope, and I am 31, and I am one of those women who want to wait for marriage for me to get pregnant. I am not married yet, and I hope to get married. I tell women that there is no need to rush. My sister also waited got married at 32, got her baby at 33.. and her child is close to age to Zen.
I feel you mummy and congratulations it's good to tell the truth .My first week as a new mum was horrible ,Infact I have five kids but still first weeks after delivery are very challenging weh!
Thank you sooo much for putting it out there that pregnancy is not easy, social has deceived people that it is smooth and no one actually talks about the struggles, so thank you Muthoni
Congratulations Mama Zen . Am 7 months and the gaslighting is real but this pregnancy imenifanya kichwa ngumu hizi mambo hazinipiti. Am not allowing anybody to stand on my mental health.
Thanks for speaking about this openly.. more women should actually come out and tell their stories- for first time moms out there to know that what they're experiencing is totally normal... i remember feeling like i was wrong for just wanting to sleep and feeling sickly... during pp again i felt like i wasn't good enough, for having a hard time.. wish i knew then what i know now
Congratulations Muthoni on your new journey 💕it’s true pregnancy is nobody’s mate from my experience wueeh🥹🥹🥹the emotional rollcoaster it’s not that easy but we win as mums glad to hear your side of the experience 💘
