I've been considering the Carnewal exhaust for my 981 CS because the sound is perfect! However, I like the fact that you can save a decent amount of weight by going aftermarket... although there's a high potential for drone 😩
Cliff awesome videos. I just bought my first cayman s 987.1 and I really appreciate your videos. I’ve been considering the Carnewal exhaust for few weeks. Is there any drone inside the cabin? Also are planning on selling your exhaust? I’d definitely consider buying. Thanks Joe
There has been absolutely no drone at all. It's just like the stock exhaust but louder and lower. The Carnewal will be for sale once I know for sure that the Soul system isn't going to be getting me tickets. But it doesn't fit your car, the 987.1 and 987.2 have completely different exhausts. If they could use the same one, I would have moved over the Borla exhaust from my 987.1 the day after I brought the 987.2 home.
@@MrScubajar Only occasionally. But the sound is absolutely fantastic. However, Borla no longer makes any exhausts for the 987 series, your only hope would be to pick one up used. I see them available once in a while, but they're pretty rare.
@@CliffsGarage Ahh, bummer as I know I'm not local. Can I ask you another question? I was just offered a good deal on a full Topgear catted headers and exhaust setup. I hear it's similar to Soul, so do you find the Soul setup obnoxious or does it drone during boring highway commute? Thanks
Great video and comparison, would have been great to have had this when I was choosing.
Thanks for this. I’m seriously considering the Carnewal for my 2011 987.2.
Coincidentally it’s also Aqua Blue Metallic - I have 6 speed though
You're welcome. And yes, it's the best color :)

@@CliffsGarage good to know thank you for the information. So you like the Borla exhaust as well? Any drone?

@@CliffsGarage Hey Cliff, Dave again. Did you sell the Carnewal yet? It'll fit my 2010 Cayman.
Great video, subscribed! Is there any visual physical evidence of modification done such at cutting or welding?
Hey Cliff, I'm sure it's sold by now, but if not let me know. Just picked up a '10 CS and want this exhaust on mine.
Great videos by the way.
Actually, I'm selling it right now. However, I don't want to ship it so it's local pick-up only.

Hey, did you end up selling this exhaust?
Thanks!
Do you still have the Carnewal GT exhaust? If so would you be willing to sell it?
I do and I am. In fact, I'm about to do a "garage sale" video listing several items including the Carnewal. Stay tuned!
@@CliffsGarage Ok..great, what are you asking for it?
