Thanks for the video. I have a 2008 base cayman with the Carnewal GT exhaust. Been thinking of adding the Fabspeed X pipe, you just sold it to me. Many thanks.

I also considered Fabspeed tips on my 987.2 (I also have Carneval exhaust) but ended up with OEM black sport exhaust tips. Those look great and also have more flow compared to standard tips. I also did get good deal from local Porsche dealer for those OEM sport exhaust tips - EUR 490.

Helpful, thanks. Appreciate it is difficult to capture the sound with an iPhone.

Did you have to drop one of the mufflers for install? Been considering this for my 981

can you not angle the Twin Tips so it looks more symmetrical? It does look very aftermarket. Also: some major chain-slap going on there on startup :p

The video was taken 5 minutes after I finished installing the X pipe. I did the fine tune adjustments afterwards. It's all symmetrical and even all the way around. If it looks aftermarket, it's probably because it is. lol

@@Somnospeed Must be because you've gone with the brushed version. Wondering if the chromed version will be closer to stock look. Can you clarify, once the main X-pipe was installed, you can fine tune the position of the tips by adjusting the little screws underneath?

@@johnpoo1662 Yeah. Just loosen a couple bolts and shift it wherever you want. The side by side pipes came spread too wide from the factory. I bent those in to make them even, which was easy to do once the Xpipe was installed. It holds the X-pipe still, enabling it to be bent much easier.

Was it easy to take off the original without special tools?

@@johnpoo1662 I just used a couple wrenches. Maybe even one wrench. lol
