Don't you ever, EVER, put a handbrake on like that again. Do y'hear me?!?! 😂 Nice video guys, but you drove it the wrong way round imho. The scenery gets better as you drive east to west, and you finish on the Applecross which is a great way to end the trip.
He will never learn! I mean I have heard people do it the other way. Issue would have been applecross, tired and dark. Needed to see it in the light. Incredible scenery.
It was particularly bad after lockdown , most of Glasgow and Edinburgh headed to the West Coast to try and revive their sanity and you can't blame them.
Despite doing the route quickly !!, the drone shots you've taken are superb. Or have you run a different trip previously for those shots?? Either way. Fab job.
Not sure why people always go on about this route. Great scenery but these don't look like good driving roads, it would probably be more enjoyable in a slow car that you don't need to worry about damaging and can just go full speed over bad roads.
Hi joe, i am about to buy a 2008 Cayman S and I stumbled upon your youtube channel and got worried about bore scoring issue. The car has done 120k miles with no abnormal observation. I am buying from an indivisual who is not comfortable with doing a camera inspection on the bore. The current owner has limited knowledge lf porsche and doesnt know what the bore score issue is. I loved the car but I am worried. I am offering him 6k £. What do you advise ?
There’s no way on earth he hasn’t heard of the more scoring issue’ and he’s trying to sell it cheap because the engine is knackered. Offer £4K if the body/suspension and brakes are good. Spend £14k on a Hartech engine rebuild. You’ve got yourself a new car. If you can’t afford a big bill, please don’t buy it.
@@Dung_Beetle1617 I don’t think the guy understand much about cars. I’ve met him and spoke to him. But the car have done 130kmiles and I tested it and no signs of bore scores at least not in the performance and it’s been in use for 16 years. I am puzzled
I have a high mileage 3.4s (135k) with no bore scoring issues so it is possible to buy a well used well loved car from someone who knew how to minimise the risks of it happening… BUT there is no way I’d buy one even cheap without someone checking for scoring. Any seller who is reticent should be treated as if they know it’s got issues and I’d walk away. They are great cars but there will always be another to buy. BTW Joe, I loved this new style of filming, adventures are where it’s at for me and I’m glad to see you making content like this 😊
I love all your videos mate but this is too long in one hit. Harry’s garage has just released a countach road trip part 1 @ 17mins long. I feel if videos are shorter you’ll be able to make more videos with potentially more views overall. That all said, well done for doing this. You’ve clearly put loads of effort into to this and I hope it springboards your channel 🤞🏼
Agreed. This was a trial really, long videos are being pushed on TH-cam so thought I’d give it a go. The next one that’s out tonight is a little shorter but still 28 mins I think. Thanks tho! Really appreciate the support
NC500 is amazing.
Enjoyed the video Joe. Really well edited and interesting to see what happens in part two 😊
@@SamAustin thanks Sam! Was one hell of a mission to film and edit as you can imagine 🤣

Great effort Joe , your a brave man , well done to your pal original also .
Thank you!
Cheers fella 👍
What a great road trip!
Car sounds incredible. Love the exhaust note.
Glad you enjoyed it!

He went on a sandy beach and back into the car 😱😱
He did because he is a hateful man 🤣 @impulsiveandy
Honestly parked exactly how I exptected a porsch driver to park
Superb Joe,…….not what I was expecting at all, I had this idea in my head the roads were good…..wow how wrong I was……fantastic effort Joe. 👍
Thank you so much!
Bloody mental! Worth it for the content though I’m sure!
It was insane! I mean I’m still tired now and only seeing the comment clearly 🤣

Thank you! Nope these were done on the fly. No wonder we were behind schedule 🤣

Subie roads
What wiper blades are you running?
I’ve got same car and my wipers aren’t as good as yours! Needed for Scotland…
I'm not sure what brand his wipers were but I know he said he uses rain x screen wash additive. It did work really well.
They are Bosch aero twin and as Andy said I run rain x in the washer fluid
Can't believe those cows didn't moooooove out the way for all that time
Just like caravan drivers and cyclists, they ignore the highway code.
What's the MPG (UK) of this car?
@@PointNemo9 24 ish. Think we averaged that on the trip.

Walk away if the owner is not comfortable having you check the engine over, 6K is cheap but you could end up with 10K rebuild 🙈🙈

Hurry up and get part two up 🤣
Was that ewe or ewe or ewe? Were ewe chaps herding cattle on the NC500?
😂
🤣🤣🤣
