Going back and watching this. This right here is what it's all about. It's always nice finding one or two here and there, but finding gems like this really makes me excited. First bank box I ever got was all hand rolled. It was almost a sunk box until close to the end, and a single roll had 17 wheaties in it. I was hooked ever since.
My goodness Rob it’s been 6 years for this jewel of a video. I scrolled to the bottom of your video list which ends with Mail Call #60. Wow! Six years later and with 2,100 plus videos you still amaze guy. Well thanks for a good fun time coin roll hunting over the years. Many more to you and yours! 🎉🥳💪🏻🏆🥇
LOL I turn my Wheaties into the bank after searching them for dates and mint marks, give someone else the thrill of looking through them or maybe start a kids interest in coin collecting!
So what are u looking for specifically? Are they any ones that are worth a lot in there that you found? What are high amounts u Made on those? And what’s the price u made from those total did it just equal the same amount u paid for them? Like was it just for fun??
Just picked up 2 penny rolls (in Canada ) Here's what I found 41,41d, 38d, 24,19,19s, 18,17,17d Plus a bunch of 30's Canadians :) And Just picked up $65 more today
Wheat cents tend to be worth atleast 2 cents do to there copper content that value goes up from there key dates and high grade pennys can be worth hundreds
@@relaxandchilldownpeople4943 it happens man alot of the time people dont know what they have and give good quality coins away but if you keep looking and dont give up you will find great coins and can make ok money if you know what your doing
Went to my OWN bank where I have an account & several times now they said that they "do not ANY coin rolls." I've only been able to get several roll of late Kennedy halve but NO pennies, nickles, dimes or quarters. Went to another bank but not being a customer there, they refused but also told me that there is a coin shortage. So...so much for coin rolling.
Nice video and congrats! But I am wondering would you consider selling some of the 40s ones, I am looking for some of them in order to complete a military display?
I'd be pissed to have 2 memorial cents! Just kidding!! Also I'd be happier with the 20s Pennies over the 1917. I have plenty of 17s but have not found a 29 D. Have a Great Day My Friend!!!
Hand rolls are usually searched. Hence yours was searched and collected all the wheat pennies together. It wasn't machined. Someone put all those wheat together.
I live in UK and my mum went to USA and got a nickel for me and the date was 1962 also I have a copper penny wheat penny and I also have a 2pound error and it said remember remember the fifth of Novembep from Kai Davies
Anywhere from like $0.01 to $2 depending year, mint and, condition. With a few exceptions like the 1943 copper wheatie which you could get like $12 for.
Please bear with my ignorance, because I am brand new to this, but can someone please explain to me the excitement of wheat pennies, when, based on hours of videos I’ve watched, there are only a few very specific dates, errors, etc. to watch out for, and best I can tell, the rest are basically worthless, or face value at best. I have LITERALLY HUNDREDS EACH of wheat pennies, and also buffalo/Indian head nickels, silver dollars and half dollars from the 1800s and early 1900s; approx 4,000 coins in all, from my grandparents (who both died over 20 years ago, but whose coin collection (not organized, but just a bunch or filled jars I have just discovered), but everything I find is one date away, or one “thing” away from being “THE one” I need to have anything of real value, so what I’m feeling right now is that to go through all 3,000-4,000 coins that I have will represent INSANE amounts of time, for what will almost surely be zero return in value; time that could have been spent putting in more overtime with my regular work, which pays GUARANTEED money, or doing other things that have a guaranteed pay-off. Again, please forgive my stupid question, because I’m probably not “getting it”, but I want to learn, but maybe this is all about the “joy of the search” (?), but so far, 9 hours into searching through my grandparents’ collection, and many hours of TH-cam videos later, and all I can see is the wasted time that I could have spent with my son, or playing music, or riding motorcycles. Can someone please help me understand the appeal, when there appears to almost never be any value, and that people have long since plucked out the good ones over the years? Please educate (and forgive) me... Thanks...
Just look at it as a hobby. Your time is not wasted, There are new coin collectors starting every day. Young children are always the ones that starting early in life collecting and coins wind up with their children getting them when they pass on just like you probably did. Look at it this was that wheat penny you have now from the early 1900's is now probably at least 25 or 30 cents or more. If you would find a older date in your pocket now that would be something that you don't do everyday. But about the only way you can find older coins are going to a coin shop and buy them. Or do what you watched on U Tube and pick out a few banks and buy up a few roll's of pennies or nickles and try your luck.
A little bit of bank luck when I was able to get handed 7 rolls of all wheaties! It was a fun hunt and a good day.
I couldn't add a comment on the giveaway..... Don't know why.
But i sure would like the 1925 nickel...
Happy hunting.....

I’m glad you got back into coin hunting. I’ve enjoyed all the videos so far!!
Awww how cute, baby Rob. Look at that, no penny mat or anything hahaha 🖒🖒
Pretty cool to see the one that started it all. I have to say, your current format is definitely better, and the mats make it fun.
Oh man whole rolls of wheats what a great find
Your videos have progressed wonderfully since this 😊
Wow! That was pretty fun watching the OG video that started it all
Glad you enjoyed it!

I got a 1911 penny and it's in great condition! Glad to see you opening and finding a 1917!
•Lazy YT• the oldest coin I have is a 1812 not coin roll hunting tho I found a 1909 vdb but not the best condition but great job finding that gg
Yeah my oldest Penney is a 1818, I also have a 1883 one dollar coin that is almost pristine, Little to no scratches and stains.
Coin CLT my oldest is a 1929 wheatie
I had a box where 80% of the rolls were nothing, but then there were 9 rolls with almost full wheaty rolls which was crazy!
Then a legend was born
Coin Hunter Cody lol - thanks! 🙃
Did you find a 1909VDB cent?
Many of those. It is the 1909-S VDB that is a tough one, but I have found 1 in a customer roll.
Hey rob
I’m so jealous. It’s great to see you finding those great rolls!
I was using my red book every time Rob picked up a coin
I'm going to go through your entire channel Rob!
HELL YEAH ROB! GREAT HUNT! THANKS FOR SHARING!
Those wrappers are very vintage! Those are the same that I got from a relative. Awesome score!
I hate that you destroyed the wraps. Old ones are usually worth more than any of the coins they came with :p
Even the wrappers were cool!!
I know! Loved them and kept them!
