If you look at the condition of the 50s wheats you can tell they have a lot more than 10 or 15 years of wear on them. Assuming they were wrapped in the 60s they would be in much better condition. Just look at the current coins that are 20 years old made in 2000 most have very good detail left. Sorry if it doesn't make sense, it does to me. Hiya, Rob. I started collecting in 1966 with a retired friend of the family. I was 14 and he and I would go to the bank every Friday and get 2 "bags"of coin, $100 in nickels and $50 in pennies. Walt, our friend, was a penny hoarder since the early 50s. He had inside info the penny was going to have a new reverse. The rolls you have look 1960sISH, and if so, I'd say these aren't unsearched. I would have believe that they weren't searched but too many discrepancies like three ihcs in each roll no key dates and none that were really nice shape plus I've heard that you can buy a tool that you can Barrell roll coins with but they're yours and like you said you'll never know for sure !! Thanks for sharing !!!
I got in to coins when I was very young. My grandparents would let me look at their bags of old pennies. In the early 60's the coins were about what you got but a lot more steel cents and no Indian Heads. The coin wrappers look like 1950s fonts. So the rolls are probably from the 1960s, semi-searched, set aside a forgotten for a long time.
Right now I mainly hunt quarters due to a source which has a lot of them from the 60's and 70's. Occasionally I LUCK into 50's and better. But I really enjoyed watching these and hope he will have some left for me to try out. Penny for your thoughts lol
My take on "unsearched rolls" is that if you are trying to find fillers you will. If you are trying to find the key date or WOW coin you pays ya money and ya takes ya chances.
Hey Rob. I buy Pennies on eBay too. I tried to read the reviews before purchasing. I get that some people don't want to post what they fine. We need to come up with a grading system for rolls. I don't mind paying a little extra for truly unsearched rolls. As always Rob great finds. Love your Channel.
I think the best way to check for the VDB initials is to just simply use the Loupe magnifier and look at it from all angles as there seem to be a hint of them by looking at it with just the naked eye the second time around on there.
Rob i find it hard to believe that all the boxes you get from your buddy in Washington have some very amazing coins . Every time i i see vidios they are amazing. Please sendMe a unopened few unopen coin rolls to make a believer believer. Continue with your amazing luck.Ernie
The zip code on the roll indicates the coins had to have been rolled after zip codes were implemented, which would make the rolls from 1963 or later. The fact that coins rolled in 1963 don't have any coins from 1960, 1961, or 1962 means something is fishy.
Mike Wolfe definitely.. since he told them he was a TH-camr when he bought that first package they sweetened it up with a penny that’s goes for 100 bucks in average condition.. that way the viewers will think man I should buy one bc I have a chance also.. if he never would of told them He was a TH-camr he probably would got nothing but dudes
My family had a big bag of pennies so i looked through every individual one and my oldest wheat penny was a 1881 indian head but it was in rough condition.
you got duped. All the guy wanted is free advertising for his ebay and you gave it to him. Should have just opened the rolls and left it anonymous. nothing is ever truly "unsearched" EVER
Awesome video!! You should put the steel cent in some lemon juice for a couple of minutes and wipe it with a piece cloth. Most of the times they clean up quite nice when you repeat that a couple times.
Don’t forget to look at the 1888 ihp for the 8 over 7 verity. Not many have been found. Good 1 to look for. Great video. Thank you for the information on the sender. HH&GL Chris
Got a whole roll from. The bank couple days ago it was gorgeous a bunch of 40's and 50's S mining mark best 50cents I ever spent . Oh and the other roll had mint state 79 80 and 81
It’s like the first Pokémon cards they are so expensive now and old that you don’t want to open the packs but you just have to open it and see the cards inside
Wow ,,, That is so Awesome they did this for you ! But, it really stems from your awesome reply to them !!!! So ! All around Cool !!!! Cant wait for you to dig in !!!! 😁✌
You can buy these old rollers on ebay ever so once in a while. I seen one that was just bought off ebay from the 50s new old stock and it looked like a cigarette rolling machine. It came with vintage papers and the rolls looked just like yours. The contraption was spring loaded and pretty cool but in the wrong hands a scammers money tree...
Back about 1963 my brother drove an ice cream truck in Houston TX. He'd come home with Indian heads, V nickles, and various Barber head coins, and I'd give him modern coins to replace them. Unfortunately, being a kid, I ended up spending most of them as time went on. I still have the 1881 S silver dollar he brought home one day.
Fascinating. For those of us not in know, would you tell us what the rare/vintage/silver coins are worth compared to face value or point us to the video explaining it? New to the channel and love it! Thanks Rob!
You should try bidding on one of my small cents shotgun "Roles" I can assure you my coins are a lot better than these starters unsearched coins that you have been showing your average Indian head is only worth between $1 or $2 and these early wheat pennies send them to NGC most of them will get a grading of details environmental damaged or details cleaned and that 1931-s that was planted in that roll of coins for you I just sent off a 1931-s wheat penny to be graded with NGC I thought sure I would get at least a grade of MS-60 instead they graded it an AU-54. I am sure that your 1931-s wheat penny NGC would grade it F-12 with details environmental damage. Don't get me wrong I am learning a lot watching your video's and I am grateful that you are showing everybody these videos. I tried what you are doing yesterday I bought 2 wheat penny rolls from the same dude the 1st roll I won the bid for $7.50 and the second roll I bought from him at a fixed price with free shipping both rolls of wheat pennies I threw in my copper bile All 100 of those wheat pennies were worth more for their copper GO figure?
This was lots of fun seeing what treasures those rolls had inside!! I'm going to save that seller on eBay in case I can buy some rolls later on!! Thanks for sharing!!
I’m sure that they were unsearched. I believe that people are basically honest. But there was a time that I bought a 1909 SVDB from a nice Chinese man that I trust and I sent it into PCGS and I expected to get a high grade. But it came back in a body bag they said it was altered! Everyone is entitled to their own opinion and I say that my 1909S VDB is real. After all I think my friend did me a favor by letting me buy it for only $500. Everybody knows those big grading companies are a rip off and only give good grades to coins that are from big institutional coin dealers. I also bought a 1916 D Mercury dime in high-grade with full bands as well as a 1955 double die Lincoln Cent in high-grade from the same Chinese gentleman I haven’t sent them in yet but I’m sure that they’ll both come back with a nice high grades from PCGS next time.
I'm thinking someone working at the bank had a bunch of old coins decided to wrap them and shelved them back in 1963. Then got sold at a sale being unsearched.
Rob I find it suspicious that all the indians looked the same, they definitely came from the same place, also don't you think if these were rolled in the 60s or 70s there would be more that have a red color?
I've hunted between 30 and 40 boxes of Pennies in my life and I have still not come across a 1955 S Mint. Don't really know why! Have a Great Day My Friend!!!
What are you looking for exactly my grandma died a few years ago and I ended up with lots of old coins she had put up and a quart jar full of wheat pennies I know they are old 30s 40 and 50s
I bought 10 rolls of " unsearched " rolls from e-bay , I was busy when i got them so i stuffed them away , i still have them intact in the back of my closet . I'm not a collecter , but i save all of my pocket change in 5 gallon plastic jugs . Some MONTH, i think I'll check them all out ..( i also store them in empty paint buckets ).😃 Just too hard to see 500 coins at one sitting lol..
I don't see any shinny au or bu anything. All the50's look circulated to date but 1. Also if rolled in 60's it's only circulated wheats. Someone had a machine to roll tight and put lower common dates and Indian cents so you get excited & distracted.
RFT very cool, all i get are bills in the mail😢. You get some very cool stuff in your mailcalls, that shows the type of person you are very generous and well deserving of them. Always very cool video I wish i could catch your livestreams more there always a good time. I recommend Robfinds Treasure's livestreams to anyone who has never checked it out you'll enjoy yourself. Unless you don't like having fun and everyone likes to have fun at least once and a while. Again WOW those were some really nice rolls, I would love to get some mail like that. A ton of nice Indians, couldn't have went to a nicer person congrats on all the cool finds. The 1909 is in decent shape it's worn but VDB would probubbly be visible under that magnification. If you have another 1909 try to compare the two next to eachother still cool to get a 1909 that's not completely worn 👍👍💯!
Hi buddy. ,nice catching. ,l have a penny with a huge error probably a mule one,. It"s a 1916 with the building instead of the wheat , it weighs ,3.11 grams , copper ,. Please give me an advice ,. Thanks
They are un searched, however not old; they are newly packaged made to look old. Zip codes didn’t start until 1963, so even if they were packed in 1963, you wouldn’t have 1958 latest and mostly 50’s, 40’s and NO ‘59, ‘60, ‘61, ‘62, & ‘63. Also more than a couple teens, 20’s & 30’s. However for free, can’t complain.
Yeah you can tell those were hand sealed because you can see the twist crimp at the end of each roll, where the one side is left perfectly crimped. the person definitely tried their hardest though to do a good job. Look at most bank sealed true wrapped rolls. The ends are always near perfect and symmetrical where these ones were symmetrically hand crimped. Just saying, people need to be honest when promoting their rolls on eBay or places like it. I sell rolls myself but I specifically put "hand rolled and filled copper roll" as to not be miss leading just to make a sale. Plus I use a 5x mag so I'm sure I'm missing some DDOs DDRs rpms ETc. Dishonesty hurts the person buying and the hobby as a whole

I am so mad!! sorry :( , its just when I was living in a "group home" this GUY stole all my good coins and used them in a Pay-Phone... I wish I still had them today. good finds BTW
Titoub; man, that is messed up!
Steal it back
@@alfredorubio8587 from the payphone that doesn't exist anymore? 🤔
Pay phones didn’t take pennies. Plus if they were silver the pay phone would eject them due to the weight.
@@acpropulsion6191 i thought so too but he keep feeding the machine until they took
Great video RFT i enjoyed watching that thank you my friend & congratulations on all of your finds i would be just as pumped as you, what an excellent surprise to open your mail box and then the package to find these beautiful un-searched pennie rolls, wow just wow incredible. Thanks for sharing brother have a great night!
@Robfindstreasure ~ My Grandparents grew up in Cripple Creek! Its a TINY mining town~ Really neat to see your video!!
Rob! I got a roll yesterday from an estate sale and got 3 Indian heads 4 steelies and some teens Wheaties! Only for $4!
Wow you are one lucky person
Talk about neat searching. I just throw my pennies in a pile and start looking through them.
Right now I mainly hunt quarters due to a source which has a lot of them from the 60's and 70's. Occasionally I LUCK into 50's and better. But I really enjoyed watching these and hope he will have some left for me to try out. Penny for your thoughts lol
if these rolls were really from 1958 those 50s coins would look a lot nicer
My take on "unsearched rolls" is that if you are trying to find fillers you will. If you are trying to find the key date or WOW coin you pays ya money and ya takes ya chances.
Hey Rob. I buy Pennies on eBay too. I tried to read the reviews before purchasing. I get that some people don't want to post what they fine. We need to come up with a grading system for rolls. I don't mind paying a little extra for truly unsearched rolls. As always Rob great finds. Love your Channel.
The grade for these rolls should be = ha,ha we took your $.🤣
I got a bunch of old coins i wanna sell let me know if your interested
Definitely searched but hey you got them free and clear. Good for you.
That looked like a lot of fun searching those. If those coins could talk, I'd sit and listen to the stories they'd tell!
That was a fun watch. Rob 👍 pretty cool seeing that 1909 and six Indians. Would have thought there would have been more than just one steely. 🤓
The zip code on the roll indicates the coins had to have been rolled after zip codes were implemented, which would make the rolls from 1963 or later. The fact that coins rolled in 1963 don't have any coins from 1960, 1961, or 1962 means something is fishy.
Mike Wolfe definitely.. since he told them he was a TH-camr when he bought that first package they sweetened it up with a penny that’s goes for 100 bucks in average condition.. that way the viewers will think man I should buy one bc I have a chance also.. if he never would of told them
He was a TH-camr he probably would got nothing but dudes
The Dummy, makes sense.
Good catch. You are so right.
tleav61 makes cents*
Skeeker, ha ha! Good one!
Nice surprise from the seller. Very generous of him to share his finds.
I swear everytime you said "usapenny" I thought you were talking about me.
You are legendary my friend
finding Indian heads in those rolls is like finding wheat pennies today! so those were good rolls!
My family had a big bag of pennies so i looked through every individual one and my oldest wheat penny was a 1881 indian head but it was in rough condition.
Nice
you got duped. All the guy wanted is free advertising for his ebay and you gave it to him. Should have just opened the rolls and left it anonymous. nothing is ever truly "unsearched" EVER
the guy is an idiot lmao
Awesome video!! You should put the steel cent in some lemon juice for a couple of minutes and wipe it with a piece cloth. Most of the times they clean up quite nice when you repeat that a couple times.
Don’t forget to look at the 1888 ihp for the 8 over 7 verity. Not many have been found. Good 1 to look for. Great video. Thank you for the information on the sender. HH&GL Chris
I did brother - no luck. Thanks for watching!
Cool search Rob👍🏻 who really knows if they were searched or not but some very cool finds💥💥💥 Thanks for sharing Rob😊
That was nice of them to give you those rolls
1:19 the word "40s-50s range" reminds me about that 40s-50s wheat is jack pot 549 with wheaties in it
THAT I JUST WATCHED
Got a whole roll from. The bank couple days ago it was gorgeous a bunch of 40's and 50's S mining mark best 50cents I ever spent . Oh and the other roll had mint state 79 80 and 81
I like the toning on the indians. Cool video :)
I've got every year from 1885 till 2019. They look great but I have no idea what the old ones are worth.
Incredible, nothing like that ever lands in my lap. Congrats Rob!
It’s like the first Pokémon cards they are so expensive now and old that you don’t want to open the packs but you just have to open it and see the cards inside
Hey Rob, Noah here from Texas, Great channel and great video. All I have to say is SCORE!!!! thumbs up for uspennycollection.
Wow ,,, That is so Awesome they did this for you ! But, it really stems from your awesome reply to them !!!! So ! All around Cool !!!! Cant wait for you to dig in !!!! 😁✌
Now that's TOO much Fun!!
Damn I am getting excited. I love unsearch unopened bank rolls
Nice finds 👍👍👍 I recently come across a 1888 indian head and a 1835 large cent 😲😁
I called estate coin on brookpark road In Cleveland Ohio. I believe she mentioned they sell wheat penny rolls just recently
Awesome finds. Great video!
Yeah I run through the same dilemma when I find old/interesting rolls. I love the rolls intact, but I also can't resist opening them.
just got a full roll of wheaties last month. i carefully opened it to confirm and put the roll back together and sealed it in a nickel coin tube.
I order these a lot
Hi spongebob popsicle
@Chedud3 Hello there
I’m sure that they were unsearched.
Love these kind of vids 😊
I'm thinking someone working at the bank had a bunch of old coins decided to wrap them and shelved them back in 1963. Then got sold at a sale being unsearched.
Fun Times...enjoyed it! You needed Indian Heads 1888, 1894 and 1909 s and you would have even better than you did, which was pretty good!
Rob I find it suspicious that all the indians looked the same, they definitely came from the same place, also don't you think if these were rolled in the 60s or 70s there would be more that have a red color?
I agree. I also thought I'd see some memorials.
@@RobFindsTreasure 50% chance search ed, 50 not searched
Nice rob like always making us viewers happy and when is ur next live stream I must see one again and thx for the content rob appreciate it👌👌
I've hunted between 30 and 40 boxes of Pennies in my life and I have still not come across a 1955 S Mint. Don't really know why!
Have a Great Day My Friend!!!
You have a great channel. I love all the information.
Not first, had like 30 secs left on a video so waited😂
Once I found a dime (fair condition) minted in 1880, not sure what mint it was.
What if I told them i wanted to buy rolls to review on my channel? Would I get some handpicked good rolls as well?
amazing score Rob!
They can't be older than 1963 due to there being a zip code on the rolls.
Best comment!
I am searching thru Pennies today love Wheatley’s go rob
Sweet ,that is cool,lucky dog.
What are you looking for exactly my grandma died a few years ago and I ended up with lots of old coins she had put up and a quart jar full of wheat pennies I know they are old 30s 40 and 50s
I bought 10 rolls of " unsearched " rolls from e-bay ,
I was busy when i got them so i stuffed them away , i still have them intact in the back of my closet .
I'm not a collecter , but i save all of my pocket change in 5 gallon plastic jugs .
Some MONTH, i think I'll check them all out ..( i also store them in empty paint buckets ).😃
Just too hard to see 500 coins at one sitting lol..
Awesome Video Rob, Thank you for posting this, I enjoyed it very much!
Great Video! Sweet Finds!!
Great finds Im checking out that ebay seller now.....
Need to find the 1922. Hard to find. I have two 1899's in my collection that I had for over 30 years.
Awesome video rob. I have seen similar listings that show up on ebay australia
Awesome Finds Rob 👍🤗
Good for you man, you worked for it.. interesting video
Hi buddy. ,nice catching. ,l have a penny with a huge error probably a mule one,. It"s a 1916 with the building instead of the wheat , it weighs ,3.11 grams , copper ,. Please give me an advice ,. Thanks
It’s a fake. It’s impossible to have a future design on an older cent. It’s not impossible to have an older design on a future cent - that’s a mule.
@@RobFindsTreasure it is true Rob. ,Iam going to post it in You Tube. ,l will let you know when is it on. It's a mule error. ,thanks buddy. ,
Awesome, good luck.
Yea i bought one of those didnt get anything pre 1940 except the Indian Head.
Man has it been a while! I was in elementary now im in high school!
Ive only found one indian head penny in all of the rolls i have searched, the one i found was a gold plated 1906!
I've wanted a 1909 penny ever since I started collecting! I got so jealous when you got one!!!
$1 on e-bay
Fantastic rolls of finds! I believe you are right that these are unsearched. I would be really excited of the finds.
"As close to 'unsearched' as you're gonna get" lol. Yup! In other words, "Keep Believin!"
