Once again you guys deliver the goods!! Another amazing video full of useful information, amazing tips and all this wrapped with smiles in a format easy to see ( and learn ).
A great video guys. A very clear demo of what to do, I feel we could attempt that first stage ourselves. Defo need helping hands. Love the tips from the pro!
Danny suggested if you have the old spray hood and it fitted well, un pick the stitches and use it for the template. If it doesn’t fit well, you can modify it or start again. I hope this helps 👍 P.s good luck and let us know how you get on here!
Great episode I need a new sprayhood & I’m giving up hope of friend ever making it . I’ve been patching & repairing for years waiting for her to do the new hood
Since you have an existing spray hood, wouldn't it be easier to rip the panel threads and use use these as a template. No measurements would be required.
That’s exactly what Danny suggests at some point in the video. However we were lowering the hood as it was rather high and obstructed the helmsman’s view.
Excellent video and instruction - makes it seem much easier than I thought.
Hey Angela, thanks for the comment! If you try it, do let us know how you get on! We would love to see the results!
for the past 45 years I have made my patterns the same with exception of no Plastic sheet but rather rols of PAPER! NO WASTE ISSUE!
Now your talking! 👍 We think this is a great way to do it. Nice work.

Now that’s what we like to hear!! It was amazing seeing Danny (the pro) in action! We struggled to keep up with him filming 😂
Great tutorial! Do you recon that making a templaye with to original sprayhood on gives the same result as without the original on?
