Alfa Romeo should sponsor you. It is not attractive to own a car brand if there are no solutions for repair jobs. You make a difference!
    Keep up the great work!

Hello everyone I am professionally making keys including car Keyes. I just wanted to confirm to everyone that this video is actually really good and accurate. I'd only add that battery used in it is CR2032 for those who didn't know, and for reprogramming it's better to turn on car's battery and then hold lock button for around 15 seconds

Hi Nemanja, what did you mean exactly by turning on car's battery before holding lock button?
I just changed my battery on my giulietta key and it worked immediately after but after an hour or so the key did not work again.. do you think it has to be reprogrammed or it is a different issue?

Thanks for this video, these keys are a little fragile but they do the job well. The hook piece for the key ring can break or disappear too. Cheers

Hello. I'd say they are average. Some key fobs are way worse than this one. The previous and after for example.
And on other car brands, some are really awful.

Last month my key stopped working; I replaced the battery but no dice, I was told that the chip on the board inside the key doesn't like it if the key is dropped, could I just order a new key with the board and put it together with my current transponder and key part?
Thank you for your quality videos regarding Alfas :)

    • @alfaromeonoproblem
      @alfaromeonoproblem  ปีที่แล้ว +1

Hello. Yes, the battery is only for the remote lock part. The little chip is for the transponder immobilizer and it does not require power.
A new key as to be always programmed with all the other keys you may have

Hey champ. I just bought a $1000 Alfa 147 twin spark with two sets of keys.
One remote works and just changed the battery as per your instructions on the other. Tried to pair it to the car by holding down a button for a long time but it’s still not working. The red light on the key flashes.
    Any ideas.

Hello. The best thing is to re code them with the diagnosis tool. Make sure to do that with all the existing keys.

Correction: on the Renault Clio II it needs the battery on the key fob for the transponder.

hello, I have a 2002 156 1.9 8v jtd, (interior face lift) one day I was driving to work and after turning off the car i could not close the door with the remote (i opened it no problem) i was trying to synchronise it by holding the button but it dosn't work, it flashes the led on the key for 10-15 seconds and nothing happens, I swapped batteries from my other key (wich works on both batteries and without synchronizing) any sugestions?

Hello. Most of the times the problems is the microswitch it self, the weld crack up. And the battery must be a hi quality one.

Any Alfa Romeo dealership will be able. They provide a card with the electronic and mechanical code. The electronic for the transponder keys and the mechanical for the remote.
All keys must be coded at three same session. Not doing so the ones that are out will never ever will be able to be recoded

Ok, but with manual locks and unlocks all doors, right? If so is you key fob with some issue. But you need to confirm it with a good diagnosis machine. To see if the cars recognises a button is being pressed. If it recognises and doesn't do it, the issue is on the car somewhere. Body computer maybe

hello, if the button fell off you can repair it. if you have a key without remote at all you can add it but you have to have the code for it, its different for the transponder code. it is a seecond code
