- ****for those having problems with the way it bakes, best tip is to place in freezer for about 30mins and make sure that your dough is solid enough but not solid frozen either. When you are able to roll the dough in your hands without it being too sticky (not sticking to your hand when you roll), that is the consistency that you want. Also, be generous with how much powder sugar you put on. That will help with the pretty crinkle effect.

Delicious, soft, fluffy cheesecake cookies! You HAVE to try this recipe if you haven't yet!
Everyone I make them for loves them and constantly asks me to make them again and again. They are one of my most requested for items. So, I finally made time to record a tutorial. Enjoy and let me know what you think!

Thank you so much for the tip
Unfortunately when I try to roll them within seconds they get sticky and I do put them back in the freezer but again when I bake them they go flat as a pancake, even after 10 mins in the oven. I experimented from the fridge or even from the freezer they just melted. Don't get me wrong they still taste great but they come out flat as.
Please use real vanilla extract rather than imitation vanilla. Your recipes will be so much better tasting!
@dorothyvassallo4665 try buying a new baking powder, it degrade very fast after you open them
Thank you for this recipe! The first time I made this cookie it was too sweet and dense as very similar to gooey butter cookies. I used 1/2 cup of sugar rather than 1 cup so that I could still dip the rolled batter in granulated sugar and powder sugar to get the pretty snowy look! It was just the right amount of sweetness for me Thanks again for sharing!
Made them today and they were amazing!! They were fluffy and soft my whole family loved them!! ❤️

Ok, holy cow! I am new to your channel and your creations are INCREDIBLE! Making my mouth water lol
Hi! Welcome to my channel and thank you for stopping by!
Thank you! I love them!!!
I LOVE cheesecake your cookies are so pretty!...thanks for showing how to put them in the regular sugar then the powder..I really like the 'crinkle' you get ..hope they taste as good as they look....I have the dough chilling and can't wait to try one...
Thanks! Pay attention to my tip I added after I made the video. Try freezing them for 30 min instead so that they are solid enough to not spread when baking and to hold the sugar for the crinkle effect
Thank you for reminding me about that I had completely forgot!...
Omg thank you for this recipe. Made these last night and brought it in to work today. Everyone loved it. Followed recipe exactly. My crinkle wasn’t as pretty though.
Yay! Glad that everyone enjoyed it!
They look delicious and I like the tip about dipping them into granulated and powdered sugar. Very nice. Subbed. (:
These look very Delicious!
They are so good!
Yum!! I’ll be getting the ingredients together tomorrow. I can’t wait to try! I’ll defiantly vlog it.
Thanks Rita! I hope you enjoy the cookies! Try both dipped into sugar and without - some people prefer dipping into sugar before baking!
Jovina Bakes I’ll defiantly do that and I can’t wait!! 🙂
I'll bet they would be good with lemon flavoring . They sre yummy !
That does sound good!!
I gotta try this!!
As u say if the recipe is easy I’ll make it or order it lol!
Just made these both ways, both are very tasty but the crinkle cookies have a nice crisp texture on top that the plain ones do not, next time I will crinkle bake all of them 🙂
Gotta try theses!
I tired and maybe not look like yours but it was delicious!! Thank you for the recipe
The origanal recipe was 2 1/2 cups of flour but yours was just 1 1/2 cups.. how many cups of flour did you really used?
I made these both ways. The ones with just sprinkling over the powdered sugar was a little boring. It came out light, fluffy, sort of spongy and semi sweet. The ones where I rolled them in both sugars had a crunch to them that made them more interesting. The cookie itself wasn’t too sweet but is a nice treat. When I added the other sugars, the top crunch was not too sweet. I did a second batch where I rolled in granular, then confection sugar. I did that twice and then sprinkled more powder sugar after they came out and then that made them too sweet. My teeth hurt then. Oh and mine didn’t look as good as hers because they flattened out a little bit but they were close. In closing, for me, I think they could have used something else to add just a little more flavor.
Oh my...Now this really caught my attention.
They are so good!
I love this cookie recipe super yummy. Im just having problems with the crinkle effect im not getting it right..
These look really good! I’m gonna try them and I’ll come back to say how they turned out. :)
Hey! So I tried them and they turned out really well. I messed up pretty bad - but it’s a pretty forgiving recipe so I fixed it and they were fluffy and tasty! I gave a dozen to some family and they were eating them right away. 😆
I bet it would be nice with lemon juice in it as well ❤
Hi! I love your baking good videos! I'm currently on a keto diet and was wondering if you ever tried making any desserts keto before and if you do, I'll love to see some.
I baked this and also i Add lemon zest and lemon, its too die for
You make it look so easy. Every time I try to bake anything, it comes out all wrong. These do look good and might worth me trying just one more time. Lol!
I was not always a good Baker! I did not start baking until 2 years ago. I used to burn everything that went into the oven! Lol
cookies are my nemesis they always look under cooked so I leave them in extra then by the time they cool they're bricks, lol
I' ve tried doing it . It turned out different from yours but the taste is very good. 👍👍👍👍
These cookies are the Best. I messed up baking it on a higher temperature and the bottom is burnt. I’ll have to try it again. Thanks for sharing your recipe.
Try doubling your cookie sheet to avoid burning them on the bottom.
I just made them n dry r delicious
Ive made these three times in the last month but i do a double batch with a full pk of dbl stuff oreos.. Super fire!!!
That sounds so good!! 😋
@@JovinasCreations they really are!
Sorry to sound stupid 🥴 but what do you mean 'pkt of dbl stuff oreos (I do know of oreos biscuits) and does that mean I replaced the cream cheese? Thanks 🤗
I want to know. How many grams of 1cup sugar?
Hi Jovina! I'm so excited to try this recipe! When would you add your flavor?
At the end. Happy baking!
I tried this recipe just like mini swet biscuits.
Could I add raspberries to it and still get the same result? Or will the berries mess up the fluffiness?
Why is it When i baked this , it gets flat the cookies? Anyone suggestion?
did you omit the salt from the original recipe on purpose?
Been adding oreos to these and they're way better than other oreo cookie recipes cuz others don't use eggs
Great idea!
What is the yield for this recipe?
Can this be done glutenfree? Or different kind of flour?
my cookies tasted good but it didnt look so crinkle with the snowy look😔
Good for snickerdoodle!
I LOVE YOUR COOKIES. IM GOING TO TRY THEM. THANK YOU FOR SHARING. I MIGHT HAVE A TIP DONT KNOW BUT WANNA SHARE. NOT MANY INGREDIENTS SO ATLEAST WORTH TRYING A COUPLE ANYWAYS. TRY PUTTING A HERSHEYS KISS IN THE MIDDLE AND THEN ROLL INTO A BALL. OR EVEN TRY THEM LITTLE REESES CUPS. HEY SOUNDS GOOD ANYWAYS LOL. IF IT WORKS PLEASE SHARE A VIDEO AGAIN.
Hi there Jovina! I wanted to ask have you tried making them chocolate? If so would you have a recipe I can have ? Thank much & Happy Holidays 🎄
Hi! I have not. But if you just want a chocolate crinkle cookie recipe, I LOVE the one by Preppy Kitchen!
Made them. They are amazing. If they are too sweet add less sugar and walllaaaaa 🥰
It's Viola not wallaaa

You sent me your real name then went back to change it so I wouldn't know who you were, brilliant! Alexa Durham it just reinforces the fact that you're truly ignorant and a complete coward as well. Is this how you act when someone tries to teach you something? You must have been a real gem in school.
Cookies look delicious!! I need to try them, can I add lemon drops to make them a bit sour, Like the normal cheesecake?, Thanks
Yes!
Is unsalted butter? Which all purpose flour did you use?
Yes, unsalted butter. And any brand all purpose flour
I try making this the 2nd time in my oven. It came out stuck together as a whole cake cookie. Maybe I’ll try a convection oven next time. They are delicious. The dough is very soft. The first time it came out burnt on the bottom with the cookie shape.
Try baking on top of a parchment paper or silicone mat. And make refrigerate your dough longer so it does not spread so much when baking
@@JovinasCreations I think that some of the confusion is that you say refrigerate when you really mean freeze.
This looks delicious! Will try it but can I add ube flavor extract to it and ube halaya? I know you have ube crinkles up already but I would like to try it with the cheesecake.
Yes! It sounds good!
Jovina Bakes thanks for responding! How much cups of ube halaya should I use and do you think it will change the consistency if I do add it?
I wouldn't do more than 1-2 tbsp and about 1 tsp of ube extract. More may make it more dry
Are these soft and chewy in the middle
Soft, yes. But shouldn't taste raw/doughy (that would be under cooked).
Thank you
What if I tried to coat the cookies with sugar and cinnamon on top?
Oh I love the cinnamon idea!!
Do u have to use the baking power i have everthing else?
Yes you need it
So I’ve tried baking this twice following it the way you do it but my cookies keeps on spreading and it’s not retaining its shape, should I add more flour??
No. You need to refrigerate/freeze longer.
The linked recipe is actually 2 1/2 cups of flour. That should fix the issue.
How do you store these because i put them in a ziploc bag and the sugar dissolved and bevame too moist.
I put in a tubberware and kept shut/air tight. The sugar does dissolve a little for me too but i can still mostly see the crinkles. I think it actually tastes better the next day 😋
@@JovinasCreations oh ok, i wanted to make a day before for a party but to have it look like fresh baked . I might have to just bake the day of.
How do you prevent the cookie from being flat? I've followed your recipe several times but each time, there's no crinkle and the cookie is very flat :(
Dough may be too loose? Freeze it overnight. Thaw for 15 min then roll, dip in sugar and bake. I find that if my dough is not semi frozen that it spreads more
Same i followed it too sad but my cookie is flat although it taste good.
Can I use wheat flour or bread flour or cake flour? I ran out of apf 😅
I think so but I honestly have not tried. Will change the texture some though
Perpect recipe new subscriber here
Thank you!
I want to try pandan flavor too, but I don't know how and where to buy the ingredient ( pandan flavor).
You can find pandan extracts at Asian Supermarkets
@@JovinasCreations thank you!
Is it ok to use electric hand mixer?
Yes
Oh wow. These two together at last?!
One of the best combos!
Looks delicious. How many cookies can you make with one batch?
Thank you! About 2 dozens
Thanks. Can't wait to make it
Does it have to be unsalted butter can I use regular salted butter??
Use unsalted butter
My cookies come out very doughy and I bake for 20 mins. Do you know why ?
That's weird. Was the bottom burnt? Maybe try baking longer, although 20 min is a long time already. Every oven is different
Mine don’t look as good as yours but they were delish i will post them on my TH-cam
Seems like the recipe is that accurate, lots of people saying they didn’t come out right
Can this be stored in the freezer overnight and bake it the next day?
Yes
I attempted to make last night not successful. I try will try again.
When I take them out of the frezzer ,do I have to thought the cookies out ?
No, not if you only left it in for 30-45 min after making the dough.
It's thaw not thought
How do you store the cookies and how long do they last?
In an air tight container. A few days, but the more days you go out, the less fresh it tastes
@@JovinasCreations thank you
I want to know, how long can this cookies last If i keep it in room temperature?
In a closed container it stays good for up to a week, but taste best fresh and the next 2 days.
@@JovinasCreations what if i keep it in chiller, will it change the texture?
Can l add orange as flavoring?
Yes, I add all sorts of flavoring to mix it up!
So there is absolutely no salt in this recipe?
