I used to have super short hair for all my life, up until I was almost 17 in february 2021. I haven't been to a barber since about october 2020,well over a year now, and my hair has gotten soooo long. Goes down to my back, and almost down to my chin in the front (yes I constantly have to make sure my hair isn't in front of my eyes or gets into my mouth) but I almost have full-shoulder length hair now I think, so soon I will be able to reap the rewards of the last 15 months or so or maybe even about 18-20 months by then and finally be able to get my eyebrows done, as well as making my hair blonde at the barber and also getting a proper haircut c:
I chose a great stylist to shape my hair in the growing process, but had the misfortune to go to a barber for a beard trim… told him I only needed MY BEARD to be trimmed as I liked my hair this way (didn’t tell him I was growing it out, maybe that was my mistake) and next thing he was trimming above my left ear because he said there was too much volume, told him I needed it that way and had to trim my right side too so it could at least look symmetrical. Now I have a lowkey mullet, haha. It wasn’t a lot, but still enraged me and now I’m afraid to ever go for a beard trim again, I don’t know what I have to say? Hahaha. Maybe I’ll start doing it myself.
I'm kind of in the awkward stage of growing my hair out. My back and sides are long but my front has fine and not as long as the back and sides. Next time I'll tell my stylist to trim the back and sides a little bit but not cut off too much length. For some reason my top and front sides are not layering out or growing out that good.
@@djcig15 yes 100%. I mean think of it as giving a speech in front of hundreds of people. You can push it back and wait longer, but at some point you still have to do it, and once you do it quicker, the better you’ll feel about yourself. Like hair, you can trim it, but if anything it will just take longer for you to reach long hair. Like I wish I hadn’t trimmed my hair, cos it took me an extra two months to get a ponytail.
@@aussieassassin6398 fr how do we avoid it tho is there anything specific we should say? like this video was pretty good example and I would wanna show this to my stylist but id feel rude tyrna tell them how to do their job yk?
@@mikeluvsgummies well their job is to help you style your hair the way you want it to be don’t get how it would be rude to ask for what you want your hair to look like especially if you’re paying for it also I think it’s better to show a photo of what you want if they fuck it up or they refuse go somewhere else that’s worth your money
@@aussieassassin6398 yeah, yk what he did? he cut the sides too short then he took those thinning scissors that have like the half comb thing and he kept cutting in the middle so now it looks like my hair is thinning....turns out he has brain damage, and not in a rude way either I mean literally 🙃
Thanks for always giving the right tips. I agree that you need to have the right base haircut for whatever style you want. It must be annoying seeing people want a certain haircut when they don’t have the patience to wait for it to grow out to that point after you correct their current haircut.
I am trying to grow my hair out I've been trying to grow it out for a few years now my top is shorter than my bottom and every time I go and get my haircut I'm just not getting the results that I want or need maybe it's where I'm going the stylist doesn't know how to deal with a bad haircut One bad haircut has taking me years to recover from😑I don't want the choppy look or layers I'm trying to get it back to one full length and let it grow out 💇 but finding a good hair stylist in my area has been an issue. Lots of people can cut hair but it's hard to find a hair stylist that can handle a bad haircut and help you you try to accomplish growing your hair out so it doesn't look crazy but every time I leave it just seems more choppy and uneven.
2 years ago i told the barber to cut my hair with a number 4 because i was gonna grow it out. My hair was down to my shoulders so last month i cut it to that perfect hairstyle, the top being the longest point, 6" in length, the sides and back 4" long. I have the same hair type as that Richard Ramirez mannequin that you have.😁
what is the hairstyle on the left called at 2:33 I have hair type 1b and I don’t like how it is anymore so I’m growing it out and what something like that
2:40 how do I get my hair like that, how would you suggest I ask my barber how to cut my hair to add the correct shape to it at the moment I have a lot longer on the top than I do on the back and sides as I had a taper fade on the back and sides?
Just have to let it grow and then go from there. I used to have the Noah Beck cut sort of and after two months of not being able to get a cut my hair ended up growing like that. But you need to have wavy hair imo to make it look like that.
please help me!!!! when i was really young i used to have loose and wavy hair. but as i have grown older my hair has gotten tighter and frizzier and is almost in the form of an afro. i really want my hair to be like it was when i was younger, loose and wavy… is there ANY way i can do this. PLEASE HELP‼️
I tried to get the tiktoker haircut but also needed the sides trimmed, she did a super bad job at layering in the front and top, she thought the way to make it flip is to thin it as much as possible, I wanted the front lengthy and she almost literally gave me a crewcut. It's been two months now, and ive been lowkey trying to grow a mullet, and the front is still not as long as it was before i had that terrible haircut, also the way she "layered" it makes me look like im becoming bald at the hairline area, and those are twice the length as the layer on top of it, honestly dont know how to fix it...
i want to ask if the straightner can cause hair loss because I've been using it for 3 years or so and nothing happened but in the last month or two my hair started to fall a little bit
