Got two more antiques, and I discuss what I have learned about the Yale logo over time. And, we'll impression a pancake lock open with my impressioning rig.
Cool! For those railroad locks, join the antique railroad collectors Facebook group. Lots of good information there. m.facebook.com/groups/RailroadLocksAndKeys/
I am also interested in how you make the key after you have the impression, did you make the impression tool ? I would like to see more detail of that. Thanks in advance.
That’s good feedback. It might be a while before I get the chance to do another one like this. But, I will make sure to film it and show that part of the process.
Yes, definitely. I have not been able to find a catalog for the 1950s. But I’ve seen ads from 1951 showing pin tumbler locks with the stretched out logo.
Very cool! I love these old locks! beautiful! Love Peter's channel as well! Thanks for sharing these! Very cool impressioning as well!!
Thank you for the feedback. And thanks for enjoying these beautiful locks!

Great locks you have there. Question does the ending year for the stretched out Yale lettering, apply to pin tumbler too?
