Darren if your doing that pasta meal again in your cab get to Asda and get your self some pick nick boxes and put your food in the pick nick box and leave it in your truck fridge it won't go to waste then a specially if you need a break on the way back to your yard from delivering you could re heat some food up for your good self and have a loaf of bread with you in your truck in your lockers
Hi mate when are you in Shropshire mate like to meet you miss me trucks I got cancer its getting there done treatment looking good mate need to get back in truck well done mate
Darren all your videos are all ways interesting to see what you guys see when your away from home working in your trucks shame you don't bring your own dvd sets out they would sell like hot cakes
Wow Darren that pasta dish made me hungry so much so had to pause and pop to the kitchen and make a bacon and egg sandwich for supper but hey another great vlog thoroughly enjoyed it. How did it go at hospital with your little man last week. Tale care matt
Hey bud, it was an appointment just to talk about what to test for etc but will have to go back to test for prawn and salmon. Overall went okay. Thanks for asking about it mate.
Very good content again buddy the food looked gorgeous man off many talents lol 😂and quick note always try book a space at the hollies because gets busy very early
Hello Darren, if cooking like that in the cab have you thought of something like an old towel or similar spread out first to protect surrounding area from cooking splashes. Have done the NC500 route but unlike some we completed most of it in '22 then did the rest in '23. Personally I would advise against a camper van as there are many miles of single track with passing places and we saw many struggling to pass one another. Camper vans end up in convoys making passing one another difficult. Of course if you happen to damage the van trying to pass in the wrong place you can say goodbye to that 2K deposit. We stayed in hotels around the coast in'22 but in '23 we stayed near Inverness as it is narrow across the country from there so was able to tour the north of Scotland from one location. We've already booked the same place for a week in September as it worked so well last year. We did not take our electric car to Scotland as we had little faith in the charging situation, but you can apply for a card from Charge Scotland (I think) so any electric vehicle can charge up for free in Scotland. We used my Ford Ranger pickup. Oh by the way Whitchurch is pronounced WHITCHURCH! Hope that helps. 👍😉🤣🤣Have a safe week Darren.
I didn’t have a towel unfortunately 🙈 That’s not a bad idea tbf booking a hotel or b&q at certain areas, I’ll definitely look into that thanks bud and I don’t blame you for not taking the electric car as you don’t wanna be stuck in a remote village without charging facilities
Brilliant vlog Darren! Love the longer ones, complimented with the beautiful views! That meal you made looked banging! Gotta fend for myself for 2 weeks on the 15th so that’s deffo being put on the list of meals to make! Hope you had a good weekend
Hey bud great video got my first shift in the road tomorrow on my own super nervous. How do you manage your 6 hour rule do you write it down of just use the tacho as guidline?
Use the tacho for driving time but for the 6 hour working time try plan your route so you have a break within the 6 hours 😃, don’t worry too much mate it will come naturally. Best of luck bud
Brilliant reversing mate but oh my God I was cringing, You should have had a bank's mandate watching you reverse out onto that road with passing traffic if anything had happened you would have happened you would have been liable😮
Darren if you and your family have got some spare cash in the bank why don't you think about purchasing your selves a nice motor home then you could pack some stuff in a bag and just head off on your own tours of the UK

@@Life_of_Darren I understand and have been in that situation,
What software do you use to edit your videos and how much it cost?
Currently use Adobe Premiere, it’s £19.99 a month. There is a few cheaper alternatives available
Cheers for that Darren, keep up the great vids
