Hi, I’m not an HGV driver - don’t have licences for lorries and the rest, but I find all of it fascinating. I’m just interested, what do you do for things like showering etc?
Looks beaute that Mike, I'm in a Daf CF rigid so i don't have the space to set up and cook like that. Boss put me a microwave in so i just have microwave meals and burgers as well as pot noodles, discovered a few week ago microwave sausage and it's amazing. Sausage sarnies for brekkie. I’m not sure if you’ve said who you work for or not but I work for a local coach company in your area, it’s a pleasure to be on the same roads as you as you always let us pull out and vice versa, not so good this time of year tho 😂 great videos tho 👍
That’s a major advantage of being a HGV driver you guys have the room to cook your own food and carry with you all the gear. As a company car driver who does over 50k miles a year if I’m away from home all week in digs it’s cost me a fortune buying food everyday from bloody motorway services etc. I’m seriously considering buying a 12 volt car cool box at least then I can take a few days supplies with me and stop being ripped off at a B.P garage for a horrible ready made sandwich or poxy sausage roll. I’d love to be able to cook myself belly pork & Mash but I don’t think I’d have the room in my car🤣
Hi Mark, is your bed comfortable to sleep on, it sure looks like it. How did the name Lorry come about. I love the color of your truck, years ago I had a pickup truck that was orange and I had special ordered it because of that color. I think you need some oven mitts. Haha. Drive carefully my friend.
I can smell the belly pork cooking. That's because the aroma of slow-cooking belly pork has been wafting in from the kitchen for hours now. My wife used slices from the butcher's, cooked with spices plus herbs from our garden as well as onions, garlic, chopped tomatoes, apple cider vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, Tabasco and seasonings. I think I'll stop watching your cooking videos for the rest of the afternoon. They are making me impatient for dinner.
Yes mate. It is my allocated truck and I had it New Man 2018. She has 261000 kilometres on her now. Still looks the part though. Thank you for your question
No worries mate , mines a 17 plate Actros with 211000 on it mainly down to Cornwall and back multidropping , see your crew all the time and have often fancied making the move down there , il keep my eyes open for you bud take it easy 👍
Love the videos buddy, I'm the same as you cook all my food in cab used to do the videos but stopped doing them as I thought no one would be interested, also cook a lot with a slow cooker during winter using a liner so minimises washing up later, gave you a sub , keep the videos coming, all the best, ian 👍👍

The only thing with microwave meals is that they are normally packed with salt and sugar
How much down time do you get on a day like sleeping and stuff ? Not taking into account ur 45 min?
