Hi Darren 👋 great night 🌙 out in London best of luck 👍 remember watch the cameras 📷 and were you park Leconfield the m4o from there 27miles into the center take care
Your sat nav takes the most awkward long way round 🤣🤣 you could have come the M4 over Kew bridge down the A205 towards your destination much easier and truck friendly.
My first thoughts are Darren is you truck should have had fuel and be ready to go at 4am,it would have made your run down to London so much easier still only at 20 mins in the vlog, lets see what happens😀
Hi Darren. Great content, could see the pubs of Ash Vegas there..the Cross Keys and the Robin Hood..keep up the great work, fascinating insight to HGV driving. Stay safe out there mate.
It can be a headache at times, if you compare it to some of the other jobs out there it’s a lot better than most, the sense of freedom you get when driving around is great
@@Life_of_Darreni agree there, ive done many jobs which was worded than this, however i cannot ignore the fact that the stress in this job is second to none.planners, transport office goons with their google map ideas, other drivers causing havoc on roads for no reason.diversions due to road closures at night, ridiculous rules and waiting times at rdc’s,my workplace expects me to do 3x15 and 2x13 and still have a brass neck to ask for overtime.no one cares about my mental health or physical health at all.they just push push push.ive had enough mate
That tachograph thing at the start is confusing lol just a bunch of numbers and buttons. Im a mecanic/fitter at a bus depot in manchester ..love what i do and i think its a chalenging job at times but that tachograph thing sent me west lol
Parking in coach bays in services is selfish, coach drivers run the same rules as HGV drivers and drive more miles per trip so need the spaces to be safe for there passengers
A night out in London wow how exciting
Appreciate the details you have to put in great job darren
Paul 👍
Thanks mate
Your just like a natural Londoner with your patience, your boss will send you their all the time Darren cheers m8,
Will
You do get used to the chaos after a few times of driving down there tbf, it’s just getting down takes forever
Hi Darren 👋 great night 🌙 out in London best of luck 👍 remember watch the cameras 📷 and were you park Leconfield the m4o from there 27miles into the center take care
Yeah it was Beaconsfield services… not enough room though for all the trucks since it’s on the outskirts of London too
Watched this on Wednesday morning those cars that pulled over for you almost makes London drivers human good video
It really does, it’s rare that they will give way for you
Tight areas Darren . No other companies will do it . Cost more in fuel and your wages coupled with London vehicle charges.
Good vlog that Darren, enjoyed the trip round London, reminded me of my trucking days down there. Not the easiest of places. 🤯
Certainly not but you get used to it after a few times, I was pretty nervous at first
Best way would off been M4 in to Hammersmith turn right towards Putney the left
Great video mate
A13 east London 👍 not west 😂
Thanks bud I’ll look for that route next time
Hi Darren it was ok, I found my delivery done ok
it could be used in oil recovery and waste spills etc
Your sat nav takes the most awkward long way round 🤣🤣 you could have come the M4 over Kew bridge down the A205 towards your destination much easier and truck friendly.
I’ll remember that one next time! Cheers bud
London again buddy nicely done though as always gods were shining down on you for that parking space lol 😂
You couldn’t have wrote that mate for the parking space - perfect timing or what!
You was fortunate there with the last min parking haha
Can’t believe how lucky I got!
My first thoughts are Darren is you truck should have had fuel and be ready to go at 4am,it would have made your run down to London so much easier still only at 20 mins in the vlog, lets see what happens😀
Yeah I agree there bud, every little set back has a big impact later on
who your energy supplier

Thanks for watching and glad you enjoyed the content 😃
Im quitting driving trucks.its far too busy for me,narrow places, too many restrictions, crazy impatient drivers.
It can be a headache at times, if you compare it to some of the other jobs out there it’s a lot better than most, the sense of freedom you get when driving around is great

Hi Darren you have a OHREX satnav, how do set the clock on it? I try setting it and it keeps going back to old time
It should be on the setting mate then apply. Not sure why it’s not saving it for you bud
Great video buddy, just got parked up by the skin of your teeth eh.
Hope Jay wasn't in that yellow car shouting things at people stood at bus stops 😂
🤣🤣
Don't let Mikey catch you on the phone in London
come on man, we wanna see the full night time and morning routine! PJs, tucked up, lights going out then the morning routines!
That tachograph thing at the start is confusing lol just a bunch of numbers and buttons. Im a mecanic/fitter at a bus depot in manchester ..love what i do and i think its a chalenging job at times but that tachograph thing sent me west lol
The tacho technology is 30 years old, that's how you would program a $5 digital clock from Woolworths.
Once you’ve done it a few times it’s pretty simple
Parking in coach bays in services is selfish, coach drivers run the same rules as HGV drivers and drive more miles per trip so need the spaces to be safe for there passengers
20 miles =2hrs in London
You’re not wrong mate, it’s 20mph everywhere along with all the traffic
The sooner lorry drivers and haulage companies STOP doing deliveries to the capital the sooner things will be sorted out in the capital
The joys of driving in London, bloody hell. Two and a half years and that's enough for me, new job in nine days. NO LONDON🎉🍻
Best of luck with your new job buddy
I believe in re-incarnation,and my greatest fear is that I will come back as a Londoner .....only joking 😉
