Nah once bots make it out of tut island and get members they dont get banned for several months or longer. All it takes is going to any red chin spot and you will see 2 bots per world per chin spot, all with 80+ and sometimes past 99 hunter and all the same stats. Some green dragon bots for whatever reason use the bounty hunter world and those ones don't even get banned when everybody gets them as targets.
how do you do anything about it? he just changes IP and starts a new farm. less than 2 t10s pays for a bond, even if each account was banned daily and he had 200 accs, which i kinda doubt, he'd still be making over 100 t10's a day, not counting the tier 1's
Richard Gibbs shouldnt take much resources to check every emblem farming spot everyday and ban the farmers there, literally 15min job with mod powers to teleport around

In a way, it hasn't really affected the games economy enough I don't think. There's still a good supply/demand and bots often do grindy work players aren't fond of. Some items may even rely on it for consistently being in G.E etc.

probably because once the summer hits less people will get bonds because it's not "bad weather" anymore so people will go out more and neglect OSRS. as soon as it's fall again, the weather starts becoming "bad" people will play games more again and will play OSRS more which means more bonds will hit the market because people want a quick buck on OSRS (i love bad weather, nice and cool) supply and demand is such a simple thing. once the summer ends it'll go back to 3m (which if you cant muster 3m every 2 weeks then you should probably look into what you're doing wrong, or get an alt on pure WC which can make 1m a day, with 14 days of membership that means 14m every 2 weeks, which is more than enough to sustain your main and your alt)

I've known emblem bot farms have been a problem in osrs but this was just TOXIC! I am actually ashamed to be apart of the bh pking community after seeing this. Thank you Pugger for providing a platform to show this game breaking activity. No doubt Jagex will do NOTHING if they see this, but only one can hope something will be done. I stumbled across this by accident, but I think I figured out how the bots get to wilderness as mentioned at 8:40. The bots hop to a specific world in my case I was on world 304 and then they run up to the wilderness by the lumberyard; however, the world they hop to changes from time to time because at one point I saw that the bots would no longer come by.
That was great. How Jagex has been the last several years though, I wouldn't be surprised if they banned your account for taking advantage of the bots lol.
quick explanation- emblems are basically a high risk, high(ish) reward item. Keeping a emblem in your invo means increasing the value you lose on death, but it also means if you kill someone who has a emblem, you will get that emblem, and it will be slightly more valuable. What emblem farmers do is they take advantage of the "gets more valuable after it has been pked" mechanic, and has bots kill other bots, over and over again, effectivly making value from nothing.

how do you do anything about it? he just changes IP and starts a new farm. less than 2 t10s pays for a bond, even if each account was banned daily and he had 200 accs, which i kinda doubt, he'd still be making over 100 t10's a day, not counting the tier 1's

Emblem farmer makes more in a day with low lvl accounts than I've ever made in osrs all together in the last 15 years. Let alone if hes selling the gp.. He makes 3 or 4 times my yearly salary... Boys.. Im switchin careers!

This is why I watch Runescape videos rather than invest my own time in this game. Bots are going to be the death of this game to many players as it was for me.

@@ploopploop yeah, the dark green Mortanya robe set and I think a staff of air did the trick. It registered as a huge piece of flax and they tried to pick us. Take em down to the bats and they die. Good times.
