it's definitely worth it, anyone who is buying a card like this, are people like me, who refused to pay the crazy prices during the mining craze, and could not afford a different card. i am getting this the beginning of august, going from an msi rx 580 armour oc edition. it's a massive jump up.
@@titchc3657 I do not really get the need to do any PSU check or upgrade because the card only pulls 170w - and seeing these tests and videos the card very rarely even go past 130-140w. I have a very "cheapo" Lenovo G5 something or other with a 1660 Super and I was curious as to the wattage, so I installed afterburner and riva statistics server and have now been playing Fortnite for a few weeks @ 2160p and I have never seen it draw more than 121watts and and even with effects on epic it is still very playable with FPS around the 45-50 mark. This is more than good enough for me. What I believe I would gain by upgrading to the 3060 for my usage, is a more silent computer as the thermal design seems to be very good and it consistently seems to be about 10c cooler on these side-by-side video tests.
Thanks, however still confused what to get. I do not want to spend too crazy money on my new graphic card! Currently has geforce rtx 1660 gaming, although not yet sure if worth it, maybe will wait for better times lol
Could've been nice to know the most important thing.. the temperature! We all can search for Nvidia spec bro, but the cooler performance is what separates different brands
Is this worth upgrading a 1070ti to? I can get one for around 300 Canadian dollars used and could probably get back 100 for my old card it will replace
Yes it is and you cannot go wrong with the 12 GB of vram, i would choose 12 GB of vram over the 3060 TI anytime since the TI edition only have 8 GB of vram.
hello i have just bought 3 samsung s7 27inch onitors which have 4k. i have the 2gb 750 ti old graphics card (one dvi 1 hdmi and one vga port). the screens show very poor video. will this 3060 card help me get 4k on my 3 4k monitors? my pc is Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-9700K CPU @ 3.60GHz 3.60 GHz with 32 gb ram. i hope u can help me as ive just spent 900 usd on all 3 monitors unrealising the fact that my gpu might not work efficintly. please suggest
I'm new to PC building a PC and i just got in to the tech world and some of my friends recommended me this while some recommends like RX 6600, 6650, 6700. What do you think is better and more budget friendly out of the four?
Yes this one would not break the bank at least. Low risk entry for what you're paying. You can get a better card later. So simply put this is a good card for in-between upgrade or if you need to update your current desktop quickly. Also if your PC has a smaller case you would not want to spend on something bigger than this.
Sorry, newbie question here, but I need a card with the following requirements: DirectX 12, DirectML, Vulkan 1.1, and OpenGL 4.2 compatible video card with 4GB VRAM, 1920x1080 resolution (at 100% scale factor). Does this card fit the bill?
I have it and i do not recommend it, the fans are noisy at high speeds and it reaches high speeds often because it overheats a lot, the msi ventus 2x thermal solution is nowhere near as good as i thought it would be....i miss EVGA :(...

Next time you get a call, from a callcenter based in India, remember to feel safe too, when they ask for your login details and bank account
It's the exact opposite for me.
The instant I hear indian accent I click away.
me to but this is literally the only video ive found on this exact card that is explaining the card and not why you shouldnt buy it etc

Don't forget to check if your psu can handle the upgrade 😊

Good review but might I ask why you had a box for a ROG 4080 in the front and center the whole time? I found that odd.
I can answer that for you. It's the exact reason you commented. It caught your eye, and made you want to ask about it. Another words, Click-Bait.
As of currently this is the card to go to if you don’t want to overkill, but still get high performance for a decent price of 280 round.
Include temperatures if you're not doing the RTSS Overlay gameplays.
Great Video and very well presented. Thanks!
hi do you think this card will handle 4k video editing? just basic editing Thanks
yes but slow

Buy a newer AMD if you don't want it to be overpriced . Ray tracing isn't enough of a feature to pay 1.5 of msrp
Thanks Panda! You confirmed my research. Amazon has it on sale for $250 right now. Happy Holidays.
