Can't wait for Pixel 7 any longer, I bought Nothing phone today. I'm aware that this is a phone from a new company, so I expected imperfections/bugs. And it did put me on the test. For example it took me more than one hour to setup everything. The phone asked me twice for the initial set up (so again after I finished it once). Then the app updates got stuck. I don't know why but in the notification bar it says something "installed 2 out of 4 applications" for one hour without making any progress. I restarted the phone twice but it stayed the same. And then I tried to update the apps from the updates list in Google Play one by one by clicking on the update button. It worked. And by chance (I don't know whether they are connected) when I finished updating them all, the installation of those 4 apps shown in the notification bar made progress and finished. My first impression? It feels like Pixel. And definitely the fingerprint sensor is faster than that on Pixel 6!
@@vikamobiles1779 I got rid of it and gave it to my child. Nothing phone was a phone with unique design and it stops there. I bought Motorola Edge 30 Ultra after, but I also regreted it. Yes, while I appreciate a large display, when going for midrange or budget phones, I feel that ease of use and overall battery and processing performance are far more important than a slightly larger display. I remember when a 5 inch display seemed massive even on a flagship!
I really like the nothing phone here. It is the most premium looking, feeling phone of the 3. Performance is amazing, screen is amazing, camera is amazing and battery is decent. Its such a well all rounded phone for such an amazing price.
A bit disappointed with the camera comparison. It seems to you that they were all okay while I was seeing a gigantic difference between the Nothing Phone and the Pixel 6a (the best). Even the selfie that you mentioned the Pixel 6a struggles with light, it clearly had the best selfie photo. And video comparison wasn't really there. Same with speakers like "they are all good". Makes the comparison almost pointless when you don't really compare or comment a bit more in depth. I enjoyed the video but it was a bit low effort comparison.
screen-on time is interesting, but as someone who has a phone sitting in their bag for 90% of a day i'd really be much more interested in overall light-use battery time. Thats a criteria i can work with practically
I have the A 52 5g, like it a lot though would like to get the Pixel 6 pro after it drops in price when the 7 comes around. Have had both Apple and Samsung and prefer Samsung, wife prefers Apple, looking for change of pace with the Pixel.
I too have A52 5g and crave for Pixel 6/pro, but the Samsung just holds up sooo well! No lagging, battery's fine, fast enough in everything, I have abused it for 1.5 years now.. No real need to change it. :-( I just wish photo colours looked more neutral/natural (hence the Pixel crave)
I feel like at the end of the day I chose samsung or google phones because of their long time software support, I change phones like every 3 to 5 years so it's good to be able to keep up with android and other stuff without feeling I'm forced to get a new phone
If software or updates is a problem to you you can try lineageos For example you saw a Xiaomi phone which seems really great value for you but you don't want to buy it because of the shitty miui then you can install lineageos on it and you'll be fine (lineageos is a stock android like experience)
The A52s can't match the fluidity of the Pixel. The camera is also pretty bad on the Samsung. No Call Screening, no Direct My Call, no Now Playing and Hold For Me. Basic features that even Motorola phones have. One UI doesn't give you that same premium feel like you get with Stock Android.
According to Geekbench, Exynos 1280=Snapdragon 750g which I use almost 2 years now in my A52 5g with no lagging at all (no games experience). (Of course it's a pity they didn't use last year's A52s's snapdragon 778g, which was much more powerful. I think I'd buy that now since it's also cheaper)
Nothing Phone does have a one handed mode but it is the stock one that Android 12 now offers by default. Just go to settings>System>Gestures>One Handed Mode

I couldn't be dealing with that jittery software on the Samsung. Don't like the cheap plastic feel either. For me it would be between the Pixel and the Nothing but I'd have to go with the Nothing due to the superior build quality and the 120hz display.

Nothing phone: Optimised Snapdragon 778+g for gaming it's great no lag or overheating 120hz Better design with led lights and transparent back 4500mah battery which is better Wireless charging and reverse wireless charging 8gb ram Gorilla glass 5 front and back 4 years of updates and 3 years major updates same as pixel Aluminium frame compared to plastic on pixel 33w fast charge And I own the nothing phone. After the large update I just received the software is great and no longer buggy. The display issues that people complain about exist in every phone, there just manufacturing defects (even big companies like Samsung and Xiaomi have them) it's a great phone in my opinion and performs just as good as my exynos s22 ultra in basic tasks and games, it also has better optimisation in games due to the Snapdragon 778 being used in alot of phones in the past like realme GT master edition ect. So if Samsung and Google claim their exynos chips and tensor chips are flagships then the nothing phone is definitely a flagship killer for the price.
Google once ahead but now lacking on the update department. Surprisingly Samsung is doing a better job when comparing how many OS updates the phones will get. Google needs to step up and give the full 5 years OS updates, seems like they don't want to support their own chip.

@@lmaoded4854 Agreed, I could accept it if it was a competitive chipset. I am so glad the Nothing phone dropped and Google added tensor to the A line. Samsung should have never released this phone with a worse chipset than last year.
But the A53 is a big hit here in India, where Indians are all about value for money. Google made a bad move for thinking about selling the Pixel 6A in India. It just wouldn't sell well. Indians would choose something like iQOO over the 6A.

You will get more support for the 6a if you plan to use it after the end of security updates. Google allow people to make custom roms for the pixels, a lot of options and freedom there. Samsung is occasionally allowing this, with less active development for custom roms. The Nothing won't be that popular, not worth it if you want a phone that can be used for 5 years.
Hmm i don't know if that's true. A lot of indian guys are buying the shit out of the Nothing phone 1 right now and those are mostly the guys creating custom roms;D so I guess it's gonna be rather popular later on:)
Nothing phone's bootloader is also unlocked, and as spiritual successor of OnePlus's lineup as well as heavy buying in India, I actually expect a good custom ROM coverage. Though, it cannot be predicted today to be honest.
a53 is a fail midrange from samsung, people probably buy a52s over a53, samsung want to push their crap exynos, are they think we are blind, are they even care about customer 🤦🏼♂️ for me from all these 3 phones pixel 6a really nailed it, its not about statically better number, its like polished & matured smartphone, nothing phone need to improve their display and camera quality, pixel 6a blown them out of water its even beats some flagship smartphones camera.
don't want to share bad news but the thing you are calling crap also made the chipset for the google. this time TSMC didn't manufactured the chipset but Samsung manufactured the chipset for Google. Google then tweaked that exynos 2100 and optimized it named it titan chip so people don't lose their trust and now google shoved that crap chipset and imposed upon customers. so both are culprit.
If you search more about the Pixel you'll see there is an ongoing issue with signal strength, especially in rural areas. I have a 3A and even noticed it compared to my other phone, a spare, Moto G7 Power, going down a country road. The Pixel was down two bars. This bothers me. Comments I read are this is common with most of their models. As far as performance, other than that, Pixels are fun, always updated and have great cameras.
@@PolyBex its facts also, but from price to overall quality, a52s having more features and better performance overall, unlike a53 who doesn't have jack audio/charger, also at some point they're downgrading some of the specs also extend the price, they're not loyal anymore to customer its a backwards move
Agreed. But tbh all mid-range phones this year seem to follow the same "good enough" trend. All of them are light upgrades over last year. Pretty disappointing... I'll wait one more for an upgrade. My oneplus 3 is still going strong... what remarkable phones they used to make.
I own a Poco F4 since almost 1 week. Good average with SD870 but a lot of bloatware which take time to uninstall. MIUI is really not the best UI: no comparison with iOS or Samsung OneUI. I have some bugs. Screen is amazing, Speakers and Battery life are suite good but it has less OS and Security Update
I can't help but love One UI but the app duplication makes things messy. The pixel 6 series and the Nothing phones are first gen so couldn't recommend them to anybody. For a mid-range I'd recommend Nord 2T or Poco F4 and I'd even recommend the A52S over the A53.....or could wait until an Amazon Prime day and rock a 2021 flagship.
If you're a multiple phone person, I'll take 6a for daily driver. It covers everything very well except for gaming which is where the second phone comes in. You'd want your daily driver to last the whole day so it's not ideal to game on your phone to deplete the battery unless you have places to charge. That's why I carry 2 phones. You can have a gaming phone that prioritise gaming and neglect the other areas you'll not use it for to have a decent price for it.
???????? I don’t understand where you got that hoax, it’s on android 13, while both of the others are on android 12 as a result of the software support not being as good as google.
I would definitely choose Pixel 6a, it's superior in terms of Camera and performance, after all it comes with Google Tensor chipset (Google's own flagship processor) and Google's camera software.
The Nothing phone 1 having bad battery life is pretty weird since many other reviews have applauded the battery and how energy efficient the phone’s chip is.

I think you should compare the Pixel 6a to FE 5g. The bonuses Samsung offers on purchase make their price comparable.
If you trade in a Pixel 3a or newer you can get the Pixel 6a and a pair of Pixel Buds A for $150.
Both bad
there is no comparison between pixel 6a and s21fe. s21fe blows 6a out of the park in almost every catagory
@@sanmiai111 The image processing favours pixel. I can tell you 9/10 people prefer pixel photos over any other flagship. That is if we don't pixel peep or shoot a video.
The thing is, the s21fe is a low end flagship, with an msrp over that of even the higher end pixel 6. With the trade in google offers, you can get the 6a for like $150 with a pair of google pixel buds a series, any Samsung that can get that low of price is completely unusable, just like almost all the Samsung a series itself.

@Antonio Castilla ok so software updates so far so good and the security patches I'm getting every two months as they promised, The software updates have been regular also, I'm on the 1.1.6 version so as you can see, they've made a few reparations on the phone and bugs are non existent right now I can say I'm pretty happy with Phone 1 and its cameras, specially the main and ultrawide are amazing. The selfie is one of the best I've ever seen when you have light, but when it's night time, it tends to have a bit of grain when you are taking the picture but the post-processing gets it pretty good.
Are you facing any problems now? Any stucking issues?
@@vikamobiles1779 I got rid of it and gave it to my child. Nothing phone was a phone with unique design and it stops there. I bought Motorola Edge 30 Ultra after, but I also regreted it. If not for anything else but the size alone, I will go for the pixel.

Thank you for comparing the one-handed mode! This is so important. Just therefore alone I will buy the Pixel
screen-on time is interesting, but as someone who has a phone sitting in their bag for 90% of a day i'd really be much more interested in overall light-use battery time. Thats a criteria i can work with practically

Kudos to us that watch and compare smartphones without being able to afford them.😇
I feel like at the end of the day I chose samsung or google phones because of their long time software support, I change phones like every 3 to 5 years so it's good to be able to keep up with android and other stuff without feeling I'm forced to get a new phone
If software or updates is a problem to you you can try lineageos For example you saw a Xiaomi phone which seems really great value for you but you don't want to buy it because of the shitty miui then you can install lineageos on it and you'll be fine (lineageos is a stock android like experience)

A lot of indian guys are buying the shit out of the Nothing phone 1 right now and those are mostly the guys creating custom roms;D so I guess it's gonna be rather popular later on:)

a53 is a fail midrange from samsung, people probably buy a52s over a53, samsung want to push their crap exynos, are they think we are blind, are they even care about customer 🤦🏼♂️ for me from all these 3 phones pixel 6a really nailed it, its not about statically better number, its like polished & matured smartphone, nothing phone need to improve their display and camera quality, pixel 6a blown them out of water its even beats some flagship smartphones camera.
don't want to share bad news but the thing you are calling crap also made the chipset for the google. this time TSMC didn't manufactured the chipset but Samsung manufactured the chipset for Google.
This is so false... the ONLY fail in the A53 is the processor. The rest is actually good like the screen, software support etc.
@@PolyBex its facts also, but from price to overall quality, a52s having more features and better performance overall, unlike a53 who doesn't have jack audio/charger, also at some point they're downgrading some of the specs also extend the price, they're not loyal anymore to customer its a backwards move
Think the Nord 2T should've have been involved in this lineup! Great value phone in my opinion. Then again, can't include everything!
Yes, maybe also POCO F4 too, since it's a similar price band/specs sheets.
I loved this comparison! Your presentation skills are exemplary
Loved the way he handles and shows mobiles like jewels !
The A53 has no business being compared against these two nor should it even exist.

Do you have a specific site you get your wallpapers from? Or do you just Google them? Cuz they are consistently bangers and are pretty simple themes
lmk if u already find it
@@raziqibrahim3428 I did not find it
I love the wallpapers in every video. can you share the link to these wallpapers?
🙌🏼
I would definitely choose Pixel 6a, it's superior in terms of Camera and performance, after all it comes with Google Tensor chipset (Google's own flagship processor) and Google's camera software.
screen issue I think idk
It's not Google own flagship processor.
It's last years Samsung's Exynos 2100 with light tweaks that so called Google tensor.
What about the heat, lag and the fingerprint reader that is not secure?
@@kasturisai5805 source?
@@malidan3895 havent heard abt lag and heat but fingerprint is old tech.
The words this man uses, man!🤣🤣❤🔥❤🔥
He use different dictionary growing up 🤣🤣
I was looking for exactly this comparison
I'd pick the Samsung A52s out of none of them.
A52s > A53 so yes
Pixel 6a and Nothing Phone 1 have UFS 3.1 for snappier performance other than the processor but Samsung A53 5G only comes UFS 2.1.
The Nothing phone 1 having bad battery life is pretty weird since many other reviews have applauded the battery and how energy efficient the phone’s chip is.
I'm getting 8 hours sot
Thank you, that is what I'm waiting for
Great video -it would be interesting to include the Galaxy A33 - cheaper than the A53 but same processor
Same "terrible" chip yes 😃👍
@@_techfan Stop talking about stuff you know nothing about...
@@alexgreg152 ik exynos 1280 is bad just like exynos 2200 and tensor
@@_techfan Sure, whatever, hopefully that Samsung doesen't listen to so called "tech fans" like you. Just know that it's not because you did add "tech fan" behind your name that your nonsensical opinion would mean something whatsoever. Also the fact that SD chips are a bit better every year doesen't mean at all that Exynos are bad or whatever you guys saying. Nonsense again...
@@alexgreg152 Snapdragon are worse than exynos
