The xo-1 has always been unstable and notorious for turning over how traxxas claim its the fastest out the box is a lie you gotta change the receiver and transmitter than put some foam tires on it
And with the revised version I expect similar results. I really hope they make real changes. A 2mm lexan body, real belted tires not slicks. And that remote is problematic. They been running that same remote for decades. It's like they not even trying. I have 9 Traxxas cars and I remain optimistic that actual change is coming. No one buys the fastest car in the world to bash around in it. They need to consider that hobbyist are going to run this car to get the advertised speed on the box. They need to plan for that.

I take it back upgraded to some of the 2022 upgrade parts steel bell crank and the new wing and diffuse and put arrma dboot goons and it made the car a million times better gonna also do gpm steering stabilizer and all aluminum steering linkage

You are definitely among the few minority that has achieve this. I wish I could actually have seen it but no one has forward over any evidence. I know it's possible but like your tires they blew that very next run.
My buddy is one of the top fastest speed runners guys in the world and is sponsored by the prestigious company Castle Creations. I see him use a leaf blower on a car in our summer months and I was surprised. It apparently works out to keep the motor not cold but warm and not hot. You want the medium on esc, motor and batteries. Lowers the electrical internal resistance.
Place a set of BSR foams tires on there and voila 100mph. Doesn't matter what type you get as long as it's not tires that balloon. And for a clean straight run. I should a whole series on this car to point out that these are the common issues that most XO-1 owners encounter when trying to speed run it. Slick tires are not ideal for speed runs it's better for drag racing. And even then the stock tires are poorly constructed from what I hear and belt breaks easily under heavy throttle. You can't drive it hard like your Arrma Infraction.
I went to that spot, it was a great spot to be at, I just did not run up hill where you were. I was just over the bridge, got some good speeds out of that with a new PB as well.
Second time GO on the foam tires👍🏿way to stay with it, cuz you was on the struggle BUS for a hot minute. And in that heat too... drink water, stretch and push off the back foot hero!!! Great video and keep them coming!!!
That's fine but run your car about 50% and if you see your front wheels start to do the Harlem Shake or death wobble. Turn the TSM down 👇. Other than that let me know how it works out for you. 👍🏽💯

I had 100 if my batteries were charged fully? I still reached 100 twice. Humph whatever, I already knew what to do it was obvious from day one. For the sake of exploration and experimentation I needed to exhuast every option before doing so to see the limits of this premium car built on a budget. This hopefully makes it very clear to anyone who wants to know what they would encounter if trying to get the advertised speeds. In addition, I hope 🙏 Traxxas sees the exhausted 😩 efforts put in to validate the fastest car in rtr stock. Please Traxxas make some high speed tires for your fastest car in the world. That would go a long way and boost customer experience.
@@MatrixRC well in that case it goes for all companies. It’s not just Traxxas that prints that on the release cars/trucks. It meant to advertise it is capable of reaching that speed out the box. Traxxas was the first to but out a car that can reach a speed of 00 mph. Over a decade ago. So without been bias I say it’s a damn go car. Now others decided to follow so it makes the hobby even greater. Any how good job brother👊🏽.

Then after the mods you couldn’t get over the mid 70’s until you put different tires on. As it is, you got a 4mph gain with new tires. As for the transmitter, i am with you 100%. My 4tec can’t even get to the end of the block. 😂🤦🏼
Facts. I tried hitting 70+mph on my Traxxas ERevo 2.0 and those tires blew out and was unstable. I think Traxxas needs to state on their box aftermarket tires are needed to achieve desired speeds and stability. Factory tires are for bashing only. 😁👍🏽💯

Hi I just bought an Xo1, on the traxxas app, what percentage do you recommend to set the TSM to, for the best stability? I currently have it at 50.4%
That's fine but run your car about 50% and if you see your front wheels start to do the Harlem Shake or death wobble. Turn the TSM down 👇. Other than that let me know how it works out for you. 👍🏽💯

I truly believe and someone else told me they hit 100 but only once because the factory tires blew. It's a one and done tires

@@MatrixRC The tires on my Hoss blew out within the first few packs. On the flip side my TRX4 has been almost bulletproof. Luck of the draw i guess.
