I'll be on my own too. My first one on my own was odd because of the feeling of being expected to be around others. This year I'll be waking up, having some food., sticking Harry Potter marathon on napping and having more food. And generally be staying off Facebook and Instagram so I don't have too see all the people I know pretend to be in happy relationships and play happy families It's very much a good self care day. The outside is quiet if you wanted to walk and not be bothered by noise etc.
Veggies mentioned: literally my safe food I eat every day, no matter what. Btw I'll be on my own too, not my first time. It's totally okay, I usually do whatever as any other day and eat deliciously
I LOVE broccoli! I even have a plushie broccoli. It's my favourite vegetable after I developed a mild but still unpleasant allergy to raw carrots. My husband and I both discovered in 2020 that we really like a quiet Christmas at home. For most of my childhood, Christmas was spent charging around the city visiting all of the same family and all their dogs at 3 different houses for a day and a half... the family is not usually too overwhelming because we don't tend to be too loud or have too many conversations going at the same time, but it is a lot of visiting. And at home, I don't have to pretend that I like a bunch of food that I actually don't - the only parts of my extended family's usual Christmas dinner that I like are the turkey dark meat and the dinner rolls.
The only Doctor I have ever met was Colin Baker at the Newcastle Theatre Royal in Newcastle upon Tyne back in June or July 1989 on the Ultimate Adventure tour. Nice chap, he was still in costume. He signed a poster for me(don't have it anymore sold it). I was just 14 years old at the time.
Colin was the first Doctor I ever met, at a Comic-Con in 2011! Got a picture with him on my dads mobile at the time, so it’s about the quality of a potato 😂
@@DanaAndersen I didn't have a film camera with me at the time. Wish I had. Would have been nice to have had a pic with the 6th Doctor. He still pretty much looked like he did when he played the Doctor. I told him i was sorry that the BBC treat him so badly and that his Doctor was so much better than the at the time current Doctor. Can't remember what he said.
I work with someone who's a massive Doctor Who fan, and when you speak about seeing your favourite actors live, it reminds me so much of her speaking about seeing David Tennant on stage. She was just over the moon! I have never met anyone famous myself. Sounds like you've got your Christmas Day all planned, and I hope you have a really good one!

As a primarily Welsh, Dutch, and Portuguese American, there's not a drop of Scandinavian blood in me, but nonetheless I do drink alone on special occasions 😂. And I do get wasted alone sometimes too. I see nothing wrong with it. I'm normally too much of a health nut to let the occasional solitary drinking occasion to actually become anything of a problem haha!

The final part of EPIC: The Musical will be releasing on Christmas. I'm so excited for the Ithaca Saga! It's some of my friends' special interests/hyperfixations too, so we're all super hyped.

The live streams honestly sound like a lot of fun. I'll be at partner's family for all of em, but don't know exactly what's happening when. If any of the streams overlap with the activity being just... Strictly come dancing or Only Fools and Horses Xmas special on TV I think I'll discreetly tune in to your stream on my phone instead lol.
