@@averagemug_music fallout is significantly smaller and the POIS are very close together look at a map of new Vegas and all its poi’s there right next to each other star field has vast open spaces with literally nothing but a few mineable rocks in between them.

After 8 months Bethesda finally adds things that should've been released with the game and pretend is a big update.
no..the fact remains it is a LARGE/BIG update and at least they added it. with people knowing in advanced about the 30 with them "working on 60" they worked on it
even if this stuff had been added at launch, you would still say the same thing on every update they do. " oh that should have been at launch"

starfield keeps getting wayy better with each update, the game is massive and keeps me engaged with every little side mission. The world of Starfield is quite amazing!

Probably not. It will only give you a bit less XP.

Question for IGN, which has been mentioned in this video, if the new update as came on the 15th of this month and changes the Gameplay etc, even when your previously at in the game and how I'm able to play and load my save when this update won't allow to load and play your game comes up with an error? It has been mentioned in this video and that will cause problems for all Gamers when they want to finish the game or play it. Bethasda has to over look this because me and the other players on xbox X orX/S/Gamepass, want to play our game with the changes without loading errors.

I'm waiting for the land vehicles personally, though this update has me very tempted. If the vehicles drop and they say something like "story DLC will be out next month" then I'll wait for it. But most likely once the vehicles are in I'll start up again.

If you have game pass you never had to buy this game, so therefore you’re playing in early access
Starfield will be "content complete" in 15 years time when modders make a star wars total conversion mod which replaces the horrendous main story.

It comes at the cost of less vegetation, smaller crowds, and generally reduce detail in the world.
seems like most gamers rather have uglier worlds if it means 60fps.
most people prefer 60fps even If the graphics looks like shite, so probably not that much of a big deal

The maps thing is crazy that it wasn't there at launch but 60fps has only been recently achievable with the consistent performance patches they've been putting out on Steam the last few months.
Nice to see Xbox benefit from that.

Honestly think it needed delayed another year. A lot of this stuff you could see the bones of inside the game (like having a ton of different medicine types that didn't affect much). But it had already been delayed so much and Bethesda was probably under a lot of pressure to finally release it.
@jasonporter5912 consider also originally Zenimax wanted it to release a year sooner then it did originally.

How about expanding save data? All these additions will just bloat the game and limit your number of saves faster. We must have more room to save games!

60FPS only for VRR displays*** If you attempt the 60FPS option on a non VRR display you will get horrible screen tearing. Great job bugthesda!

There should have been land vehicles at launch. It’s like if Skyrim didn’t have horses. This is even worse though cuz there’s whole planets they want you to explore! I’m not a Bethesda hater and I’m a grown man who respects all the hard work it takes to make these games but no land vehicles?? That’s a tough thing to understand how it’s not in the game.
Was so hyped for this game and still did not purchased it. I'll give it a couple more years and see then if it will be worth spending money on it.

The fact they are doing all these changes now and acting like they are great improvements makes me not want to play the game for another 2-3 years. All of this should've been provided at launch or they should've delayed. Just disappointing.
Bethesda should just hire nexus mods and the other mod site top modders to help create a fallout new Vegas remaster
Nexus mods is a platform for mods, their not devs of outright modders
they could of got behind fallout london instead of ruining them. Bethedsa are terrified if someone else makes a fallout game it will show just how lazy and outdated thier game design is.
I’m still wanting more but this update is still satisfactory in my opinion.

Im really enjoying the game.
Myproblem with the game is the combat still feels off imo. The emptiness of the planets. The having to fast travel everywhere. No sense or need to explore anything. If im not in combat, im just fast traveling between objectives the whole game. This game feels so rushed. Maybe xbox gave them an unlrealistic deadline and forced it out even though it wasnt done. Idk

If space travel is still just a menu simulator then the game aint fix. They need a seamless way to travel. Even if it's essentially just facing your ship in a direction and hitting the "warp button".

That whole "30 fps was an artistic design choice" was straight cap and everybody knew it. The game wasn't ready to release. Its that simple. I'm glad they finally giving us 60fps though.
Who said it was an artistic design choice ? They just said that they preferred the game to be stable rather than have framerates jump up an down despite the fact it can sometimes run at higher framerates.

Its so funny to me that the creation engine is such a technological relic that a "driveable vehicle" is considered a ground breaking feature, Something you can actually set up in seconds (without fine tuning handling, drifting, gravity of course) in most modern engines

Loading screens, horrible story and writing, horrible characters, boring dead empty planets and space.
25 years in the making, but they needed an extra 8 months to make it a playable game? Yeah, right! And Todd Howard really sounds like more of a dumbass now. He said it was locked at 30 fps because they didn't want to lose any of the fidelity that they worked for. So now that it's open to 60 fps...was he lying? Or did they want to compromise the fidelity that they worked so hard for? Bethesda needs new leadership.
Everything is fine but only loading screen while taking off and landing, Remove them, "BETHESDA".

The engine isn't even a third of the game's issues. If it were made on ue5 or something like that, it would probably run even worse and have none of the actual issues fixed.

@@jasonporter5912 the others had an openworld and just indoors loading screens. The time between loading screens is too short.
@@skydivin4ng3l Oblivion and Skyrim both forced you to go through loading screens to enter a city. Once in that city you'd be surrounded by more doors with loading screens. Oblivion even had the imperial city which required loading screens just to enter different parts of the city. Just Bethesda things.
