Two Z-Choker Closes Tutorial - Intermediate Balisong Tricks

- I have attempted a regular z-choker to ice pick or standard grip catch and accidentally caught the balisong in the closed position quite a few times. It has been something that I have wanted to figure out how to consistently recreate, and a few days ago I did just that. I recorded a quick tutorial for the close and the next day I came up with the other type of close because I wanted to have a bit more of the fan included.
I chose not to teach the whole fixed ladder set up and how to actually do the fan portion of the z choker, since that really needs its own tutorial and I just wanted to highlight the close in this video.

@@Pauliebalisongs Is there a certain part that you're struggling with? I know for me, getting the timing down to do the ice pick catch was difficult
@ I think I figured out what was stopping the fan part from happening more consistently. I needed to ease up on how tightly I was holding the Balisong as I’m pulling back with my middle finger and swooping upwards
Also I can get it to a regular open but the icepick is the tough one for me. Getting it to the ice pick orientation is the part I’m stuck on

How much was the trainer you’re using here? 👍🇬🇧
The trainer in the video is the Nabalis Vulp. It is 65 US dollars. I got it on Amazon, when it was still there in the US. It might still be available on Amazon in other countries, or if not you can check out Nabalis.com or AliExpress! There are a lot of other cheap options nowadays, but I don't have much experience with others. I do recommend getting a Vulp though!

I would say from my own experience and from what I have heard others say, a Vulp is a great option! It was taken down off Amazon though, but I have seen it under a different listing recently, not sure if it is official or not though, sorry.
Unfortunately, I can't give any other recommendations, but if you're able to buy off other sites, the Vulp is on Nabalis.com and Blade HQ also for USA shipping!

It can be kinda tricky to learn for sure. The z-choker was one of those tricks where most people say you kinda just have to figure out the timing yourself, but once you are able to find it, you'll have it pretty much down.
