    • @tielerprice430
      @tielerprice430 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      U should not dull ur knife instead if u are scared of sharp/live blade knives try using tape on the blade it is easier to remove tape than it is to reprofile ur blade

    • @skateatree5384
      @skateatree5384 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@tielerprice430 I totally see your point there. It's kind of a safety thing to me. I have a bad self anger problem, and one time I grabbed that knife instead of my usual punching myself thing. It all happened so fast being in a rage and having that knife nearby, I went too far. Probably needed stitches but I used some butterfly bandages for my butterfly knife cut(just thought of how ironic that is, ha.) I've come a long way since then, working on anger and controlling myself more. Anyways... it's just better knowing that blade cant hurt me as easy now, and I felt like I kind of lifted the harm I'd inflicted on myself upon destroying the blades edge. Might be too much info there, but its important to me. We all need to stay as safe, mentally and physically, as we can.
      Thanks for your tip on covering the blade, not dulling it. Once I feel more comfortable with some butterfly knife basics I will have to buy a new one. My current knife is probably 12 years old by now. Cheap clanky, but I love messing around with it.
      Have a good day everyone. :)

There's just something so badass and empowering when women do their own thing. Also you are such a good teacher. I loved how you did three steps. ok, so maybe this is super-basic-everyone-knowsit...but the "flip to the left, so it's pointed to the left" was something subtle you called out that made the most basic opening much less jarring/awkward for me. It makes it so you can smoothly roll it over easier and more fluid. Thanks for that!
