- Even though it's a dangerous time, it was time to head to Kharkiv. I hadn't been in over a year and a half. Today my buddy Patrick and I make the journey there by night train.

He doesn’t need an expensive rig. Maybe just a regular RODE shotgun mic or even a $20 lapel mic. Those DJI wireless mics seem to be getting cheaper too.

The same old train cars made in DDR/GDR. Still running well after 60+ years. The 'cabin' is called coupé, the car with the separate cabins is called a coupé car.
the simplicity of the design of old wagons and locomotives in our country is a positive thing. they are easily repaired due to their simplicity.

Really like this one. The Kyiv train station, bro I remember going up that escalator both times leaving. And both times people in tears thanking for serving. Even the baggage check guys. Wells me up in tears thinking about it.
Kharkiv is still a very pretty city. I’ve only seen photos actually and your video, but from what I understand it was traditionally considered a richer city. The metro stations are a bit more modern looking and prettier in some ways. Just chance views or is that a true statement?

Tbh @johnnyfd anyone who is even remotely capable can help w construction. I think that even you, if you felt the need to make things better and easier for animals and shelter, could construct what they need, even if temporary instead of permanent concrete, using diy instructional youtube videos. If this is something you feel strongly about, i Can send u some links to help you. You can also contact local builders for consulting should you run into any issues or have questions. Just a thought if u are wanting to still invest into making lordy and his friends' lives better even though you are unable to foster /adopt at this juncture in your life

You will find GMaps and Waze will not work a lot now in Kharkiv, used to be just when sirens went off and the cities jammers kicked in, but now it can happen all the time. A month or so ago when I was there, we went round in circles a bit looking for an address as the sirens were going off non stop.
