Governments always tell you that you are fighting for freedom when in fact you are not. Paul Valery, French Poet 1871 - 1945, summed up the situation quite eloquently in his poem:
"War: a massacre of people who don't know each other for the profit of people who know each other but don't massacre each other."
This is the reason why we have war widows. The outcome is very, very sad. If you think about it too long it will bring a tear to your eyes.

I think if my husband died in a war and it was for his family and his wife, I would strive to continue to try to help my country and intern help my family in the end.

If it means, I cook food to be sent to the soldiers or if it means me sewing their clothes, or me as a widow helping the war effort somehow I would do it.

Nobody knows about the losses. They are hidden. But in the Kursk region there are images of dozens of corpses of Ukrainian soldiers being taken out of the forest and stacked in piles. Scary footage. All the forests there are being sprayed with cluster shells. There is no hiding from them in the forest. Relatives don't even know. Relatives always pray and hope that their loved ones are alive and well. This is a terrible massacre.

2013: brewing political conflict to oust the new elected president.
2014: Victoria Nuland engineered a coup de tat to oust the newly elected president.
2014: Right off the president got kicked out, the Donbas region became a center of civil war against Ukraine government forces and militia whom favored the ousted president due to being pro Russian and didn't kowtow to EU, NATO policy.
2014 to 2021: Civil War broke out, Ukraine secretly bombing Donbas regions from villages and urban cities. There was also a news publications, US, NATO had bio-labs scattered in Ukraine. During these years, Ukraine national mass media protrayed militia to international government and organization as nuance blames them for killing civilians. A couple of times, there were attempts of peaceful treaty by like[Minsk Agreement] UN, Russia, Belarus, Germany, France, UK, Italy to end the conflict of Ukraine and the militia. Somehow it is rejected, according to OSCE and Russia. Ukraine had an advisor from the US, to reject such agreement with Russia and OSCE. Making the peace agreement impossible. It was a ticking time bomb for Russia, because of various measurements to help Donbas from massive scale bombings of the Ukraine armed forces in the region from 2014 to 2021. In March 2022, Russia crossed the border of Ukraine to counter offensive the onslaught of Ukraine armed forces, helping out the Donbas militia to retain its territory back.

From an American perspective: how many lives and dollars did we Yanks spend to keep our union together when the south wanted to leave? The Russian people fought bravely and won their freedom from the Islamic caliphate, the greatest threat to civilization that exists. They saved themselves and all Western Europe/US. They want to keep what their sons died for. Why are we Yanks noble for saving OUR union, but the Russians evil for wanting the same?

There was one widow who talked about the extreme aching daily pain and I relate and it made me very sad, but also I saw the women offering hugs, activitieses, dancing, fun, and saw a few faces with glowing smiles and it was joyful to see some are healing and sharing, comforting each other and making friendships. I pray they all heal and all will have sincere glowing smiles on thier faces once again.
