Lovely footage of the otters. I had a holiday with my parents many years ago where we went island hopping around the Hebridies and we were lucky enough to see otters in a small fishing harbour and also a family of otters playing on the beach over the road from our hotel while we had breakfast. They are so much fun to watch

The otter footage was great but I also loved the quick shot of the Oystercatchers in the beginning. Very cool bird!

Otters are on my bucket list! How exciting. We have river otters in my part of the US. I’ve yet to see them and have spent many a cold morning hiking and scouting for them! Mull looks like an amazing place! I doubt I’ll ever get to see it in person, so thanks for bringing this enchanting place to us!

@@jonathanwilkinson1461 oh excellent find Jonathan! We’ve had no owls recently but we’re hoping to next 1-2 weeks could be good for little owl and barn owl so hoping we can find them and capture some footage soon 😀

11:54 Puffins I am guessing, when I was going to school there was a series of books with the Puffin as their logo.
I just googled this and it turns out that it is a very well know series of books.

Great footage. Love Mull. Asking where did you get your camouflage jackets from ? Been looking online but can only see men’s advertised and yours seem to fit properly. Thanks 😊
Thank you so much Carol! My jacket is from Ridgeline who I can really recommend, they've got a spring sale on at the moment which is very handy! Sophie's jacket is actually just an army surplus jacket we got from eBay fairly cheaply - however it is a little bit more noisy than mine because it's waterproof, which is great if it's raining but less great when you're trying to get closer to animals who might be sensitive to noise. Luckily with otters you only move when they're under the water so they won't hear you but worth keeping in mind if you were going to try and film something like badgers etc. 😊 hope that helps!

I think that's actually a very fair point, we're still very much learning how to make the best of our videos and deciding what music and sound to use is definitely something we want to get good at. I think considering more around trying to capture the essence of what it feels like to be somewhere is 100% something we want to be better at, so this is very helpful. Hoping we can improve on our future videos. Thanks for your feedback!
Do you have a wildlife garden?
We do indeed! 😀 it’s quite small but we make sure we do everything we can to help wildlife in our garden by making sure there is food, shelter and water, as well trying to fit in as many native plants that are good for wildlife as we can! 😊
