I think ATVs are way too much money. But to those saying 'Buy a normal SUV', you're not legally allowed to run normal SUVs on the ATV trails. Buying an ATV gives you access to the ATV trails which is a luxury that a lot of wealthy people want. ATVs also are capable of slamming into rocks all day at 30mph which is unique.
Umm.. no. An ATV is a vehicle that is based on an off road motorcycle, in approximately 4ft wide, and is NOT registerable for use on public roadways. They DO however have to be registered and insured to access public trails and public use lands. THOSE vehicles are just as wide, and just as maneuverable as a jeep cj or a Toyota yj.. But at least the jeep can be registered for the road.. I just shake my head and walk away..
