The last few days I have again been obsessed with this song, this band and Michael Monroe. Just the hottest talent that really brings me back to a place when i need it.
Ya when I first heard this I couldn’t stop listening to it I remember driving to alaska highway listening to this and love kills from Vinnie Vincent invaison
Yeah Axl had a rough upbringing, feel real sorry for him because of that... Nobody deserves to be treated so badly........ I agree both bands are fantastic but Hanoi were something else that i can't put my finger on... Peace dude!! :)
these dudes, if they werent from Finland they would have made it big like GNR, in fact they were ahead of GNR, almost seems like GNR copied Hanoi Rocks all the way.
Oh My God.. My aunt worked in a shop (tiimari) in Salo ( a city in finland) and when mike went there back in the 90's, my aunt thought he was a shoplifter. Sad :D
@IzzyStorm1996 Ok. Both may have been drunk, yes, but there is no excuse for killing someone. He seems to like to drive people to death because he has not learned not to drive drunk after the "accident" My relative was also killed by a drunk driver by "accident" (bad english, google translation) Anyway, Michael Monroe was wonderful at Debaser.
This might be about Angela but Million miles away is about their ex-drummer Razzle, so I´ve heard, please tell me if I´m wrong about this. Btw Andy is playing so shitly in this versions intro comparing to that Marquee live lp version, that was really great to listen beautiful intro.
seems like Slash copied his "Hat Style" from this Guitarist here!!! No wonder as just today a Finnish guy was telling me that GnR were influenced by them..
Actually dude, Axl was used sexually and got kicked out of the house because he had long hair. He wasn't treated well while he lived at home either. So all your so-called "theories" are just bullshit. They're both amazing bands. The reason why Izzy left was because he didnt want to perform and become famous, he just wanted to write music and leave peacefully ith his family
@Phaellos you know the funny thing? I once heard Slash telling the story how he ended up with this hat on a show & that was clearly different!!! Jises showbis :p
@IzzyStorm1996 Sorry but I hate Vince Neil too much to be able to listen to Mötley and I don't remember how they sound... I had a relative who was killed by a drunk driver and it was an accident too but of course I hate even the person who did it..
Great song, great performance - but Mike is very obviously malnourished. A six feet tall lad at the weight of 110 lbs is not "immaculate", especially when considering how athletic he was two years before. He was anorectic, he has admitted it himself, and the band was cracking up.

They never denied it. The term "Welcome to the Jungle" is from Hanoi Rock "Underwater World". Michael also played harmonica on Guns' "Bad Obsession".
lovely,always a sad song,RIP razzle......
Rip Razz...still remember hearing the news as a kid in the 80s...damn I loved this band. So ahead of their time and such great songs.
this song brings up a lot of memories of my teenage years, i love them very much greetings to hellsinki from hellevoetsluis
Me too
HANOY ROCKS FOREVER FROM CHILE
Yeah!
I was born in the 80´s and still remember those so called "hanoi" years, with they glam style.
Gimme more hairspray and i´ll rock!
It's so fascinating how such a huge voice can come out of such a frail body, but Michael is the God of rock n'roll, I guess that's the answer.
hanoi rocks would have been one of the biggest bands on earth if razzly hadn't died...
Great song, top performance and Mike looks immaculate.
18 years of tears..
there is about 4 different versions of this song by HR but they are all as good
Love it! Thanx Mike, Andy, et all.
Yeah Axl had a rough upbringing, feel real sorry for him because of that... Nobody deserves to be treated so badly........ I agree both bands are fantastic but Hanoi were something else that i can't put my finger on...
Peace dude!! :)
Splendid, brilliant and fabulous
the singers arm looks like the arm of an realy old lady xD
love this song btw
R.I.P Razzle
i'l be seeing hanoi in nottingham in a couple of months :)
the best live version of this song that i have heard. (sorry bad english)
Hey dude!
best song of all rock ballads
R.I.P Razlle
Utterly seminal,,,,, legendary.....
It's a great song. I wonder when some band will make their own cover of it.
It's called Rocket Queen.
AMAZING !!!!!
michael monroel its from Finland ;) Im so happy that I live here
I'm jealous, how U guys kept up band together. Ps. Everyone took some drugs
you're so wrong, Michael Monroe said he dabbled here and there but he rarely drank and the whole drug thing was a once in awhile thing.
these dudes, if they werent from Finland they would have made it big like GNR, in fact they were ahead of GNR, almost seems like GNR copied Hanoi Rocks all the way.
No man should have cheekbones like that
Oh My God.. My aunt worked in a shop (tiimari) in Salo ( a city in finland) and when mike went there back in the 90's, my aunt thought he was a shoplifter. Sad :D
lol, he's beautiful
@IzzyStorm1996 Ok. Both may have been drunk, yes, but there is no excuse for killing someone. He seems to like to drive people to death because he has not learned not to drive drunk after the "accident" My relative was also killed by a drunk driver by "accident" (bad english, google translation)

Hanoi rocks rules 💋💝💋
@oritherio yeah and the drummer Razzle who died 1984 wore many times exactly the same hat as Slash has wore always.
Michael, mukava kuunnella näitä kaikkia!! Sä olet kuin durasellpupu, Andy myös vimosen päälle hyvä.
great song and great hair
Nah. If you want to hear where it ("Welcome to the Jungle") came from check out Axl's explanation from their Ritz gig (can be found on TH-cam).
It's true: Bangkok Shocks, Saigon Shakes... but HANOI ROCKS!!!!!!!
@oritherio In the book "Slash" he mention that hanoi were his biggest influence ever
well, it has been a while... I mainly remember this song and that they were pretty big back then, in poland at least.
懐かしい...
He had a solo career. Check out for example "Nights are so long" it´s a killer!
This might be about Angela but Million miles away is about their ex-drummer Razzle, so I´ve heard, please tell me if I´m wrong about this. Btw Andy is playing so shitly in this versions intro comparing to that Marquee live lp version, that was really great to listen beautiful intro.

Oh mike and his colossal gurns

On kyllä laihat käsivarret Michaelilla mutta onhan tuo hengissä pysynyt. Ja tykkään kovasti hänestä. Mun nuoruusidoli.
@PatriaFinlandia Check out all the Hardcore Superstar stuff! The new wave of swedish sleeze baby!!!
@lukascarlsten Rock`n roll is a battle field.
what did michael do from 1985 - 2001?
@IzzyStorm1996 Yes. Would you have liked him as much if it was your relative / friend he had driven to death?
saw em in Warsaw in 1985
I will have
m,
Zazdroszczę!
except michael sang the wrong words for the 2nd verse
seems like Slash copied his "Hat Style" from this Guitarist here!!! No wonder as just today a Finnish guy was telling me that GnR were influenced by them..
no he's not
@MyScarletFall
Nope. Its about Andys girlfriend Angela. Or so I've heard.
Actually dude, Axl was used sexually and got kicked out of the house because he had long hair. He wasn't treated well while he lived at home either. @loser1802 well probally not but it was an accident..but i like both bands
Omg huomasin just, että mulla on exactly samanlainen hattu ku mikä Andyl on tos.. ._.
@Phaellos you know the funny thing? I once heard Slash telling the story how he ended up with this hat on a show & that was clearly different!!!
Jises showbis :p

The real Mccoy!!! F--n A Andy!! TOO MUCH!!
@IzzyStorm1996 Sorry but I hate Vince Neil too much to be able to listen to Mötley and I don't remember how they sound... I had a relative who was killed by a drunk driver and it was an accident too but of course I hate even the person who did it..
@PatriaFinlandia they are good but suck now i prefer older vains of jenna and crashdiet
I don't know why but to me Michael Monroe looks a bit like Helena Bonham Carter
more or less the same thing! don't you think so?!
O:
beautiful girl.
@IzzyStorm1996 *yawn*
No Izzy Got the whole band into hanoi and he copied andy mccoys style,he'd be the first to admit it
not like slash.... slash had bigger silinter hat
@loser1802 i like vince neils music is that bad
De lead singer looks like a homo sapien
@SweetNova1000 Just because you have bad taste :P
Great song, great performance - but Mike is very obviously malnourished. A six feet tall lad at the weight of 110 lbs is not "immaculate", especially when considering how athletic he was two years before. He was anorectic, he has admitted it himself, and the band was cracking up.
