My god look at Michael, he cries so hard he can hardly sing! Only pure professionalism takes him through this emotional moment. I never heard this song liv after this concert... rip Razzle, never forgotten!
I don't hate Mötley Crüe, I hate Vince Neil. He didn't even care that he ruined a band that literally could have been good friends with him. He never even paid. Personally I think, Vince should have done more time and paid.
@@riiadejaneiro3766 agree...but even at what happened to Skylar, he still carried on drinking and driving, and allowing MC to release a box set called "Music To Crash Your Car", just shows how f***** up he is. #forabolsonaro
Ikr! I love Mötley Crüe but I'm so sad about what happened to Razzle..Vince was reckless and drove drunk and that took the life of basically a boy, Razzle was only 24 when he died, and also two more people were injured, and Vince only served 19 days of jail. That's so hard to comprehend and it makes me angry honestly
One of my favorite bands of ALL TIME. I have seen Hanoi Rocks play live in London, Japan, and numerous times in the US. I could only imagine the sadness and power of this show, only 3 weeks after Razzle's death, in their own hometown. Can you imagine how many friends of theirs were in that audience that night. This must have been a very hard performance by all members. I could definitely see the sadness in Michael's face. RIP forever Razzle.
It's so hard to stop crying when you're watching this video. I've always thaught that Micheal's eyes are really communicative. So when he's crying, you're crying to...When I'm wathing some recent interviews, I can see that this is always difficult for Michael M. to speak about Razzle's death.... :( What a sad story.
Less than a month after Razzle was killed,it was still so raw...It is taking everything Mike has got to be up there singing, don't know how he did it....So sad.
@@sense0fpurpose No he didn't. WTF?! This was before June 1985. Razzle died in Dec 1984, right after his 24th birthday. Most people don't consider that a year...
As a 13 year old girl, I’ve always wished I was born earlier. Mainly just to witness my favourite bands (like Hanoi Rocks) live in person. Love their music so much, they’ve saved my life. Everyday, I always listen to this song going to school and i’ll never ever get tired of it. My two biggest dreams are to become a guitarist (already working on ittt!!) and be in a successful band and make music like HR. My second one is two meet them, wether just Sami, Nasty and Micheal or anyone who was in this band. I would do anything to meet them… Rip Razzle. ❤
I think Mike's combo of raw feeling and professionalism is quite unprecedented here. Nothing fake or pulled back about this show, yet they must have been bleeding inside.
Here's why Mike is crying: From Wiki: On December 8, Hanoi Rocks band members (except Michael Monroe, who was recuperating from his fractured ankle) were partying with friends Mötley Crüe at lead singer Vince Neil's house. They noticed they were out of beer, so Neil and Razzle, who were both drunk, drove to a nearby liquor store. Afterward, they headed back, but, on the way, Neil crashed into another car. Razzle died instantly. / The group held memorial concerts then broke up.
Just a little re-visit. Can't watch this often. Still breaks my goddamn heart. I watched this live on TV in Scotland when it broadcast. What a great performance from all. Mo x
This is still so fresh in my memory. I watched this as it happened, i was only 13 years old then. It still hurts...... Vince didn't care & didn't pay for his crime. Razzle paid the price along with Hanoi Rocks, his family, friends & Hanoi fans.
Michael's crying, she's cute, but still sing really well. Andy plays the piano very, very emotional, trying not to cry in front of people. Nasty is awfully good solo guitarist, as Andy. Sam is an accomplished bass player. RIP Razzle ...
There's no point in blaming Vince. Both made bad decisions by boozing...and Razzle made a bad decision in allowing Vince to drive. Neither guy is a "piece of shit"...you're just looking to vent at someone or something.
the fact that nasty had to look away from the camera in the beginning hurt me , of course mike singing while crying hurt me as well . they lost an amazing band member and friends . rest easy raz
Hanoi were such an incredible band! I had just discovered them, literally right before Razzle died. What a shit deal, but such a great bunch of talent!

Many dreams were shattered that night. Memories hit my brain sometimes like a tsunami. ❤️❤️❤️
I don’t know. After reading the latest books, we know that the band was practically split at this point. Add the death of Razzel in the mix, just a fantastic pull-through. It must have been hard for every band member on many levels.
