The ultimate in sleaze rock. This band where well ahead of the time, and destroyed everything in their path!. Brilliant band, brilliant songs enuff said! Totally underrated.
drink lords: They Was. Ive saw them for the first time in 1985 just after Razzle died. They where totally wasted by both grief and probably drugs but they where fantastic. Off course i saw them when they did reform couple of times but it wasent the same, still very good thoght but not the same
Was there that night. Got wasted :) and somehow had the left leg of my jeans ripped off ! Was freezing on the way home., sweat soaked leather jacket frozen solid after a long walk home
It’s like to be hit in the head by a sledgehammer of pure Rock n roll. I wish that they reform again with the original line up. Mike, Andy, Sam, Nasty and Gyp and do atleast a tour.
i love Hanoi Rocks... I have a few of their records, I love Live at the Marquee (all those wasted years) the best, this song rocks in my car, lol, Bangkok Shocks is my 2nd fave, and Mystery City is my 3rd fave... those are great records !
Was only about 12yrs old when this band was at its height, never had opportunity to see them live but loved them all the same. Great to see they are still appreciated.🍸🍸🍸🍸🍸🍸🍸🍸🍸🍸🍸🍸🍸🍸
It's been covered by literally hundreds of bands, if not thousands, ever since the early 60's. Agent Orange even recorded and released their version as a single in '82.
Hmm....sometimes, you hear backing vocals and neither Andy, Nasty, Razzle or Sami are at the microphone. So who is else is providing backing vocals? This is really bugging me.
Sorry for answering to a 2 year old comm.. the audio was overdubbed in the studio, you can hear it at several places. I think there was even a studio attached to the Marquee or sth. But idk who exactly was singing there :D
They were scheduled to play in L.A. Then the Razzle tragedy .... I still have my ticket of the cancelled show.
I had my ticket bought as well, in Houston. I was so psyched to finally see them, and then that horrible shit happened. Wish I still had my old stub.

The best live album/vid ever. RIP Razzle
Best rock band ever
This is some of the draggiest punk ever and I'm here for it!!!!
Revolutionary band. The vibe is a raw energy radiating energy in waves of colours of sound. I've loved them since the 80s 🖤🔥🖤
What could've been if Razzle lived
I'm proud of this band, and I wish they would come back, but it wouldn't be the same as if Razzle was here still.. :3
Man brilliant to take the Dolls look sound to the next level

Yeah... That would be great! :)
What ever happened to Gyp?
Brewzerr: He has play some music in different small bands. But nowdays he work in a recordstore here in Stockholm.
@@magnuslindstrom2908 Thanks. I've wondered about that for a long time.
Your dream came true just a few nights ago in Helsinki... hot damn, what a show that was

Pipeline was covered by johnny thunders several years earlier.
So?

Michael Monroe and Johnny were very good friends. Hanoi also played opening Thunders gigs 1983.
hanoi rocks every morning jeeeeee
Me too! I love it!
Thunders!
Amazing! Whole set is just 1-2 hihat hits away from the disaster. But still... it´s living on the edge...wiyh great touch!
名古屋市公会堂のライブもこのオープニングだったなぁ
Fricking AWESOME! I totally copied my drum choice form Razzle's set up back then, RIP Razzle! So cool, taken too soon!
I have this on VHS..I wonder if this available on DVD or if the only way is to have it transferred. Hanoi Rocks was a great band!
The profit of street rock since Hanoi Rocks
MIchael is a great big star.
love
Hyvä mike!
Got this in VHS :33
Fuck yes. In true Johnny Thunders style .
ハノイのパイプライン懐かしいな
アンディ 超カッコイイ
2:21 bass guitar changes to another...lotsa post-production in this vid.
They played three shows and they were all filmed. Sam broke a string from his Gibson and he had to play "the ugly heavy-bass" for the rest of the gig.
they played in japan and Thailand a few times that would have been pretty good Thailand in 1980s
Martin Dennis Also in Japan , their performance was a huge hit!!;-)

Why?
Guns n Roses borrowed elements of this song and these guys
