Yeah Home Free! Chance and Adam earned their pay here. Adam's always on point with his beat boxing. That Harmonica effect though is just amazing to me. Then there's Chance with that Jaw Harp. If you really want to see how versatile these guys are and hear their Higher range check out Mayday and you might not recognize Tim's vocals lol.

This was incredible. Also, their cover of “Elvira” (with the Oakridge Boys) was so good. “All About the Bass” was good and silly.
If I remember correctly, from a live version, Chance does the mouth harp sound, and Adam and Austin do the harmonica.
great choice for a reaction! Several other covers by Home Free would be “In the Blood” (John Mayer cover), “Castle On the Hill” (Ed Sheeran, which you probably know), and one of my favs “Mayday” by Cam. Of course, they released an album last year called Dive Bar Saints which has 10 originals and 2 covers. It’s great stuff!

This is one of my FAVORITE songs by Home Free. We saw them in concert December 1, 2019 and it was AMAZING. My kids and I are HUGE Home Free fans.
As much as I LOVE home free, I love to watch people listen to them! Your face when Adam "played" the harmonica! Priceless. Also, if you think listening with headphones is great, you need to go see them live! Tim vibrates the floor and seats!

Thank you for a great reaction, it is easy to see how much you appreciate their hard work to make their songs something special. And yes, headphone are needed to get the full experience. Home Free has a huge variety of music, for something completely different try "Butts Remix". So much fun !!
The great thing about Homefree is their playfulness, ‘champagne taste on a beer budget’ is great and even has a cameo of avi riding a mechanical bull, and ‘this is how we roll’ has a great Austin solo that makes me laugh so hard and the high note he hits is so good, the whole video is set to the big labowski.
You should see a video of them performing that song live. Austin, the lead on this song, will join the beat boxer Adam and do synchronized harmonicas. It is one of the most impressive things I've ever seen.
I would also add Avi with Peter doing Black is the Colour of my True Love's Hair or possibly May Day by Home Free - both worth a listen

Jennifer Breczinski - Which state is that, they’re from Minnesota, Texas, Georgia, and Alabama originally. Although now Tim lives in Nashville and Chance in Los Angelas. I’m in MN and Rob lives in my home town somewhere, although I haven’t run into him yet.

Yeah, was lucky enough to see them perform this one live in Dec 2018. Both Adam and Austin do “harmonicas” in harmony. They actually use a “looper” to have the steady background sounds but they “produce” the loop for the night and show who sings what, what noises are made in front of the audience. Cool insights and amazing performance.

Great job, I love to have new Home Free reactors to watch! A few of my favourite Home Free music videos include 'Summer in the Country', 'Some Girls Do', 'Woman Amen/Female' & 'God Blessed Texas'. They are all also ones I haven't seen many people suggesting. I'm not sure how much you know about the guys yet, but Summer in the Country was done in 2015 so it still has Chris, while the other three songs were done since Chance took over for Chris.
I'm loving you discovering Penatonix and Homefree. And watching these great songs again with you!

I agree completely - after I got some headphones I found there was sooo much more going on than I'd been aware of.
This is one of the few songs they do where Adam uses a looper. Also if you're doing a World Tour you really should include "Shogo Free" Home Free's very own tribute band from Japan, they are awesome.

From my view, the songs that really hit the highest Home Free lvl are this one and The castle on the hill. Absolutely superb.
The opening sound was mimicking the Australian didgeridoo, and then a harmonica. This is nice! I've listened to these guys, but only when Avi Kaplan was guest singing with them. :-)

The beginning sound is a jaw harp ( or juice harp) by Chance. Later is a harmonica by Adam.
You need to react to mayday now that you know who they are and what part they sing
I recommend Disturbed - The Sound of Silence. It's a very unique and powerful vocal performance.

The "frog noises" is Chance's jew harp (that's the little wire harp played by twanging the wire near the jaw) … done with his throat voice. Every noise, click, hum, and rumble - 5 voices... Glad you enjoyed it. (Gotta love Rob's bidididip here we go, so few reactors notice or mention it)
Go check out the video bass battle between Tim foust, Avi Kaplan, and Geoff Castelucci. It's crazy. I am an Avi fan though.

btw, I have been in 2 Home Free videos. Wagon Wheel (Song of the South) and Champagne Taste. Both a little older since Chris is in both videos but still fun songs no doubt. And Avi makes a guest appearance in Champagne Taste. They had recorded Ring of Fire the night before. So he stuck around to be in Champagne Taste as well. (He doesn't sing though). But at least I was able to get a pic with him in his cowboy hat.
