I think you guys are awesome! I watch over 25 top DIY channels and you guys are catching up with them quickly. That old engine is amazing as I couldn't see any smoke bellowing out the exhaust while driving. That truck definitely needs a little rust repair as I think it was abused enough. I would for sure start on the front cab and floors/supports. Keep going you two because I believe you are a winning team!
Thanks! Thats quite the compliment; we sure appreciate that! We're having fun figuring it all out. That old 58 has been surprising us from the beginning; not just because of how well it bounced back but by how much everybody loves this old junker. The channel really picked up when this thing came around and it showed up just in time. Definitely God sent so it's safe to say it's a permanent part of the channel. We have plans to start with the rust repair like you mentioned but not sure when. We have a hand full of projects that have showed up since this 58 came around so We're gonna have to try to fit it in again at some point. Appreciate ya watching and commenting! Stay tuned!

@@HustlehousePA1978 No, not really. I just turned 65 BUT, I've had 14 fractures and 11 surgeries so I feel worse than my 80 year old brother. He still freakin' works part time! I haven't been able to work since 1990!
Man I'm grinding down pretty fast myself. We only get one go around though. Gotta be thankful we're still kickin it at all!

Those are great old trucks...they are getting hard to find these days. Hope yall dont get rid of it and fix it up...wish I had it and had the dough to fix it up...wow. I got an 87 f150 Id trade all day long for it. LOL

I would not have put that filter on there if it has metal and it will eat the bearings out of that motor you would have been better off to have left the oil filter on it
It truly was used but we may have exaggerated a little on the metal in the filter. The Bronco had a rattle at fire up but the filter only had a few miles on it and it didn't spin a bearing or anything. Would have never ran something real bad even on this old truck that will most likely never be road worthy. Appreciate ya commentin and watching!
You need some zinc additive to put in that oil or run 15W-40 shell rotella t4
Yea probably. But that would cost lotsa $ and I have 0 $s lol. The truck may see 20 miles a year if its lucky so it should live! Dont wanna spoil it!!

Oh were broke but happy! Appreciate the thought. We don't have much foldin' money but we're super blessed and thankful for it! Money or not I honestly don't know that things could be any better. Nah I wouldn't worry about that. Hard to judge if people are joking or whatever on the comments so we take them with a grain of salt. Heck we're just happy somebody cares enough to share their opinion. We had the fake roadrunner out to a small show today in fact. Been running pretty good and glad you like it. Do wish it was as nice in person as it is on video. The body work is starting to show But hey, it suits us ok! Thanks again!
