yea me too. I know that the previous owner bought the car from a guy who works for a local used car dealer who deals in classic cars. Beyond that I don't know. I'm sure it had to be garage kept if not a southern or west coast car. Wish they were all that solid!

Hey! Thats the first time my old Dodge been on the hook! lol. Just kidding. I remember back in the day, most of the wreckers I saw were indeed Fords. Coolest looking tow trucks in my opinion too!

@@HustlehousePA1978 1970 and it was a tow truck. One ton dually and it was built right and it looked like it stepped out of you know the old days. I did find a Chevy about 1970 1 ton tow truck. Can I tell you how many times I drove past it. It just a little bit off the interstate but I never took time to go look at it. Then one day I thought I just drive up and take a look at it and see if I can buy it. That sweet tow truck was gone.

UGH! Thats my kinda luck. Somebody probably got it for a song too. Oh well.. they do turn up and they're usually pretty reasonable.

@@HustlehousePA1978 15 years old when it was basically 50 years old. I couldn't tell you how many years it has been on the property and it only sat for like the last five years, because it was seldom moved. I may go check on a couple in the next few days

I always liked the lock in outs too. Mainly because my front driveshafts and u joints were always so destroyed I was afraid of the driveshaft taking out innocent bystanders street side while I'm rattling thru town! lol.
