Yes, that's why Krishna said No one is your friend no one is your enemy, it's the situation and time that make people as your enemy and friends. So, he led his life focusing on Karma and Dharma..Sadhguru, Thank You🙏🙏🙏

There is no such thing as friend actually. Some who we think is close to us we label them as friends. But it is all life acting in their own nature and cycles.

There is no bad friend either...
Just people that aligns with your path...or ones that take you off it(is what your calling bad friends) since they are going a different way in their own way
      ..
And the ones that are lost in harmful habits is exactly the time when every person needs a friend.. not someone who avoid/runs thinking it's self preservation..when actuality it's because of lack of experience insecurity runs away.. instead of being present and walking away in mindful decisions is two different things

Hi . In my workplace, I have a small issue. I have a manager who doesn't do any work and our project doesn't follow any guidelines and always there is always a pressure from clients on the employees. Actually, many of the seniors have left the organization because of this toxic culture. But myself and some of the other people are freshers, we have worked for 1 1/2 year but didn't receive any promotion. Hoping that after we get some promotion, we will leave the organization. Our managers always give more work than we can do. So, we have to work for longer hours and we don't have any work life balance. Please guide me on how to respond to such situations and how to speak up for myself in the corporate culture? Because our manager doesn't speak for us. Myself and my friends do more work, so he assigns all the tickets to me and my friends. There are some people who doesn't do any work and are in the favour of manager. So they chill around. So, The manager assigns their work also to us saying they are on leave. But when they go on leave, not a single line of code will be written for the objects. If we inform the same to manager, he just nods his head and asks us to the development as the deadline is running out of time. Please guide me on the above issue.

I only walk away from people which not only ignoring me but also not offering something that lift me up. It's a waste of time spending with people like that. I have to somewhat disagree. My mother was very abusive towards my sisters and I. I had a hyphema, and a giant bruise on my face, she hit my head against a cement floor and gave me a concussion, she almost drowned my little sister. But I only thought one thing, she doesn't know any better and I never want to do that to my children... ever!! I now know I was wrong. She did know better but still chose to hurt us, but she has sinced to apologized and I have forgiven her. I am 42 now. How can I hold a grudge forever, I would only hurt myself.

Hurtful or deceitful words can wound as much as, or even more than, a punch on your face or stomach.
If someone is exposed to emotional aggression, lies, manipulation, despise, etc, for a longe period of time this will normally cause ALL sort of pain and misery and emotional distress.
Of course, those few enlightened ones may have the strength to not being so hurt by the emotional aggression coming from others.

It's true it is very difficult. But what Sadhguru says is the only intelligent way to deal with life. We have no choice over our external circumstances many a times and how long do we suffer for life, bit by bit?It is so tiring. I am constantly reminding myself with the words of yogis to become inward focussed.

    • @mgroliveira
      @mgroliveira ปีที่แล้ว +2

Emotional aggression normally leaves scars, bruises, the eyes cannot see, but which are real. This is something that needs to be embraced before the person may heal and move away from the abusive relationship - as Sadhguru recommend. Of course the person's ability to do that will depends on a number of factors.
Sadhguru is not encouraging anyone to follow him blindly, unquestionably. This would be very unintelligent for a wise and realizem Teacher to say.

That's a good way of putting it, he's saying only physical pain is real and any other pain is your mind interpreting it as such. It goes against what psychology says though which I sometimes thinks overly focuses on the problems. I'm a highly sensitive, empathic person so I feel on a deeper level, things hurt me for a long time but I'm going to try to keep this in mind, "only physical pain is real, the rest is nothing".

Thankyou Sadhguru, for showing me the way I was thinking was wrong, and seeing it from a new perspective.
I love listening to your videos, thankyou for sharing your knowledge and wisdom with the world, you help to make the struggle a little bit easier to handle when you are able to understand better, especially the way you explain it, someone who actually cares but can also tells you exactly how it is and how you must look at it instead.
Many many thanks and much love to you.
P.S I never believed a Prince Charming would ride into my life one day and knock on my door announce himself and whisk me away to greener pastures lol. But I did feel ripped off by my family members, who gave me Fairytale like such to read as a child, filling you full of hopes & dreams that one day he would come to save you, when I realized they were all just stories, or big lies lol.

Writing down things like emotions can really help so that we're not holding it in anymore and can release it. Thanks.

It’s not their words who hurt you is the energy they send to you , its their pain you’re feeling. So it’s not only when you hurt yourself by the way you percieve what is being said, but sometimes is also the energy or intention they are sending to you, and this is what you have to learn to manage. You will feel it but you just got to let it through.🙏

Yes I agree, it shakes the soul , if you are unaware while receiving it, sometimes you get it without any reason or mistake of yours, your soul may shiver, and it is a wound, but it heals as time passes, pray to God who knows your pure intentions and he helps, but then distance yourself from that person who inflicted the pain, because you need to protect yourself also, then you have to let go, however dear that person is.
