David Prowse was actually the man who wore the original Darth Vader suit. He actually wasn't told his voice would be dubbed over by James Earl Jones, and found out in the theater. From all accounts he did form a pretty personal connection with Darth Vader's character, and there's a very troubled and messy history of him being sidelined often as the original films kept going. He wasn't even heard at the end of the trilogy, with his role being replaced by Sebastian Shaw, even though he was promised that he would be heard. There's a lot of history there that's worth reading about. It's just what came to mind when listening to Matpat talk about actors forming connections to the characters they play and their costumes.

Idk why but this one really gives me the creeps unlike others. The jump scares aren't as terrifying as others but the concept of your skin, flesh, and bones just becoming one with a suit is terrifying. No one would notice and you can't make them notice because you can't talk anymore. And the worst part is that you didn't actually die immediately. The man in the suit definitely has human consciousness but idk if it's going to slowly fading as time progresses or he just lost control over his body.

Not me at 4:30 trying to freeze frame that glitch in hopes of it being an arg clue in correlation to a possible theory-verse arg but then realizing it's just matt's screen for the video
It’s interesting to me that everyone I’ve seen analysing this series interprets the Anguirus video description as the Godzilla suit talking to the actor, but I think it could also be a communication between the actor in the Anguirus suit and “Goji”. It’s Goji being more used to the suit now and trying to help the Anguirus actor come to terms with his new situation, and maybe the resulting fight and Goji biting his neck came from a disagreement about their purpose as actors fused with their suits. I just wanted to add my theory to the mix, I love this series either way and I’m glad it’s getting covered here!
I totally agree. I believe it's the goji actor trying to use the suit as a way to get revenge against america for the bombings. I also believe it's important to note that he's not the original Godzilla which was a warning but they specifically chose the Godzilla that had become an American movie hero and lost his roots as it's quite ironic to have that Godzilla attack America after it lost its meaning

Godzilla getting this level of mainstream attention on all fronts, from this fan series, to TWO new movies making the pop culture buzz right now, not to mention the Monarch series. It’s a GREAT time to be a Godzilla fan!
Was also an anime not too long ago, that went through the various Godzilla monsters really well. Think was Godzilla: Singular Point or something like that.
A mixture of humor and professional and thoughtful analysis, this video made me think about the related topics that I haven't even previously thought of. Very nice. ^^
Cool facts! Godzilla's actor is known and called 'Haruo Nakajima', sadly he died in 2017. Rest In Peace legend Angurirus' suit actor is Katsumi Tezuka, its unknown if hes still alive or dead
If you're interested in Godzilla content that delves into post-war Japan and the ramifications from the tragedy of the bombs dropping, definitely watch Godzilla Minus One. It's one of the best Godzilla films ever made.
idk what it is about this cuz its not even TOO scary (these episodes at least) but something about it is just deeply unsettling and upsetting to watch…. its so good i love how it ties in reality and “this could have happened behind the scenes” which makes you able to believe it even if its an absurd idea but the possibility of a man really becoming one with the suit beings real is scary!!!!!
Whoo!! So happy you guys are breaking this series down. One of my new favorite series. Sadly, Unknowningly had to change the Goji photo in the Angurius Suit video because of some jealous creator who made a series similar almost a year prior to Unknown making his.
The suitmation dude wasn't jealous rather the dude just had a problem with the image that unknowingly used in the angurius suit video which I'm pretty sure could've been used freely but unknowingly cropped the image out of respect for suitmations request
@@RandomBungieCharacter sounds the same if u ask me. Apparently Suitmation hasn't uploaded in almost a year for his series and now that he is interacting with a newer, more popular creator, whose series is different and more interesting, makes it seem a little fishy or mischievous.
Let's not spread hate, I don't want suitmation trials or the creator to be frowned apon, it came before man in the suit so let's respect it, we wouldn't have man in the suit without it, I love both seires and both creators so let's not stir the cauldron please
So this thing transforms everything it bites to fill their costume and become it? Do not let this thing near a convention 😳! Some people might want to get bit.
Hey Mat, just wanted to make a note that technically, FNAF wasn’t the first game to come up with this concept. The most well known version that came before FNAF is actually from the creepypasta “Abandoned By Disney” by Slimebeast, I recommend giving it a read. The creepypasta then went on to get recreated in a FNAF style fan game called Five Nights at Treasure Island. Just wanted to clear this up. 🖤✨
I’ve watched a lot of people playing ‘Let’s Find Larry’ and I’d love to hear and see you playing it, your view and immediate ideas on things are really awesome :)❤
I have a lot of respect for Godzilla as a property when it comes to the bombs. Godzilla is cool but also sad when you think about what it represents. I got the opportunity to look at and read a Japanese book about the atomic bombs and it was such a heavy and weighted experience. It was really sad, but it really made me empathize. I hope we continue to learn and prevent horrible things like that from happening.
I love that story about a man who loved this one suit so much, that he used it for many things. But he had an accident with the suit, and is now apart of the suit. After the transformation, he kills many people.
19:22 - It was at this moment when Mat Pat realized something. Something he STILL can't get away from (even after nearly a decade of his spiral into insanity of, you know what...)
What, y'all wouldn't watch the original? You only wanna watch MatPat watch 2 seconds of the video & chat for 30 minutes over & over again? Edit: now I realize that I misunderstood the message the original commenter was trying to convey. I apologize for any inconvinience my stupidity has caused...
One could also argue that some of the monsters we are seeing right now is “our fear of our pasts coming back to haunt us” (Animatronics from childhood, Kids’ toys, Old Cartoons, and so on)
I really hope this becomes a full theory! There is so much happening in these videos that I can see/hear going on that doesn't get brough up during this video that I would love to see explained or just talked about. I love diging into things, but ARG's are a bit too much for me as I don't have the right skill set to really dig into videos. I can't wait to see what happens next.
As someone who also completed NaNoWriMo this year, I can confirm that it is rough. It is super rewarding though, and I’m really happy to hear about a fellow writer’s win!
True translations: Godzilla may be a monster, but I wonder if it's natural, and will I be in this huge body, so that I can become one with him 14:22 Help, me 35:15 Why are we with them? 38:03 Couldn’t translate myself 46:43

@@The_Metriacanthosaurus yeah dominion is a realy bad movie. and than the fact that prehistoric planet came out 2 weeks before dominion really rubbed the salt in their wounds.
I do believe that for the second video you saw, the caption that was in japanese was actually the man in the suit talking to the other man who got trapped in anguirus
Haruo nakijima is the man who wears the Godzilla suit in the showa era and even though it’s a analog horror I have to say it he didn’t get stuck in the suit
Fun fact: The constant noise that you hear at the end is the noise of the Godzilla roar in the actual films. Even the Monster verse Godzilla has a lower or modified version of that roar.
Man, I came in expecting 49 minutes of content, and I ended up getting… 49 minutes of content. What, did you expect me to say something about the witty banter being too long? Nah, Ash’s novel idea SLAPS. You go!!!

Monkey just went OO OHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH X_X
If anyone is curious, the OG actor in the old Japanese Godzilla movie was Haruo Nakajima.
Long Live The King
Excellent time to be a Gojira Enjoyer.
As for Jurassic..
@@The_Metriacanthosauruswe don't talk about Jurassic park
@@odd-dev aww..

I love how matt is watching a horrifying thing, but is still making it all funny he's such a happy person
A mixture of humor and professional and thoughtful analysis, this video made me think about the related topics that I haven't even previously thought of.
Very nice. ^^
Cool facts!
Godzilla's actor is known and called 'Haruo Nakajima', sadly he died in 2017. Rest In Peace legend
Angurirus' suit actor is Katsumi Tezuka, its unknown if hes still alive or dead
Ash’s story sounds so cool! I hope one day they feel comfortable to share it because the hints have been so vague, but well done ash!
If you're interested in Godzilla content that delves into post-war Japan and the ramifications from the tragedy of the bombs dropping, definitely watch Godzilla Minus One. It's one of the best Godzilla films ever made.
Yes, make more please, it gets better the more you watch this, its amazing
idk what it is about this cuz its not even TOO scary (these episodes at least) but something about it is just deeply unsettling and upsetting to watch…. its so good
i love how it ties in reality and “this could have happened behind the scenes” which makes you able to believe it even if its an absurd idea
but the possibility of a man really becoming one with the suit beings real is scary!!!!!
Much love and respect to Haruo Nakajima (rest in peace) and Kenpachiro Satsuma for being the most iconic Godzilla suit actors for Toho Studios.
Wait they changed it when?

Matpat: HEHEEHEHEH
Hey Mat, just wanted to make a note that technically, FNAF wasn’t the first game to come up with this concept. The most well known version that came before FNAF is actually from the creepypasta “Abandoned By Disney” by Slimebeast, I recommend giving it a read. The creepypasta then went on to get recreated in a FNAF style fan game called Five Nights at Treasure Island. Just wanted to clear this up. 🖤✨
So glad someone else thought of this too!
Proves Mat is nothing but false info
Uh no that's not what I heard
@@lazyvoid7107 what did you hear?
I hope ash releases the book somewhere at some point! Even if it’s just online or on AO3 or something, I’d love to read it!
Oooooo matpat seeing this analog horror series is just what I wanted for Christmas!
Matpat is too funny when He's not theorizing Freddy's eyeball and comparing it to Scott Cawthon's pinky size.
lol
I’ve watched a lot of people playing ‘Let’s Find Larry’ and I’d love to hear and see you playing it, your view and immediate ideas on things are really awesome :)❤
As a Godzilla fan i found matpat mixing up rodan and ghidorah hilarious
Explanation for the description of the Anguirus video: It's not The Suit talking to the man inside. It's Goji talking to Anguirus
Hearing about Ash's project has been a highlight of my November! I'm so glad they made it and this book concept sounds really awesome
I’d definitely love to see more of this series
It’s always nice to hear other people’s views and perspectives on it
Crazy how a new Godzilla trailer released yesterday and now GTLive is covering this series. It’s a good year to be a kaiju fan.

@@venomfan2020I nean2 they could watch the original video and then wait for his reaction
18:46 I love my new printer 🖨️
I love this type of horror as body horror is the only thing that really scares me to a huge degree anymore.
As someone who also completed NaNoWriMo this year, I can confirm that it is rough. It is super rewarding though, and I’m really happy to hear about a fellow writer’s win!
True translations:
Godzilla may be a monster, but I wonder if it's natural, and will I be in this huge body, so that I can become one with him 14:22

Godzilla minus one was an incredible movie. And the ending, wow. You guys should definitely do a theory on it
So excited to read Ashs novel if/when they decide to post/publish! That concept sounds so freaking cool!
Also super excited for Matt to check this series out, found it a few weeks ago and this one hit me harder than a lot of other analog horror
I have no idea what this is, but it sounds insane and I'm here for it.
Nice to see Godzilla media getting more spotlight especially around monarch legacy of monsters and Godzilla minus one
“ Wa is that my mother” 37:37
Congrats Ash!!!!
That's a really fun and interesting story concept.
My mom is Japanese and grew up watching the Godzilla movies. I wonder what her opinion on this would be...
Show her, and report back to us.
She might get confused
32:04 WAS THAT THE BITE OF ‘87!?!!?
This story is so unerving and creepy. And I feel like ive heard a story like this with people fusing into a suit before when I was younger. So creepy.
i actually read about this that it was dangerous to wear the old godzilla suit in a magazine. It was no air and it was hot in that suit.
What a time to be a Godzilla fan! Minus one, The upcoming Godzilla x Kong, The new Apple TV series, and now Game Theory covering Godzilla related content! I LOVE ITTTTT!
EXACTLY!!!!!!!
As for Jurassic..
@@The_Metriacanthosaurus yeah dominion is a realy bad movie.

I just only like good dinosaur media.
Also you can just pirate prehistoric planet.
It looks like it would be a blast to work for you. I love the videos man.
You guys should definitely check out Angel Hare.
Its kinda analog horror-esque, and is definitely focused more on the story than anything else.
Man, I came in expecting 49 minutes of content, and I ended up getting… 49 minutes of content. What, did you expect me to say something about the witty banter being too long? Nah, Ash’s novel idea SLAPS. You go!!!
Every Godzilla fan be ready for matpat to mispronounce Godzilla monster names.
The idea of someone becoming the suit they wear was also used in an Iron Man comic where Tony Stark Fuses with his suit and slowly gors insane
Can we just take a moment and thank Unkn0wingly for this scary, creative series, he put so much work into the editing (I'm not sure if he had other people do it lol) Just the thought of seeing someone mutate into the suit is just pure horror movie. He's fighting for the medal of 'Scariest VHS series Ever.' next to battington's fnaf VHS series in my book.😎
