41:16 That actually is a really cool idea for a sci fi horror creature. It’s like how hermit crabs need to replace their shells when they grow. Having a creature that needs the skull of another creature it’s eaten is a cool feature
The idea where the meat snake takes on the skull of it's food is actually done in the movie aliens where a xenomorph's skull slowly forms the face of the victim it was feeding on inside the chest.
I love this so much. It has such a strong “I had fun inventing a species/food web for a biology project and wanted to share it in video format” vibe. Those were the best school projects and I love seeing this creators work

I can only imagine the snake from the war had tried to go through mitosis, but due to limited space it wasn't able to finish so there's just other multiple snake heads all on one body.
I feel like the concept of using a large, horrific creature to dispose of dead bodies during a war is in and of itself an interesting idea to explore in some sort of narrative. I can just imagine an experienced soldier taking a rookie over to where they keep the meat snake and telling them, "If you die, that's where you're going." Is it considered an honor to be eaten by the creature (an extension of dying in battle considering an honorable death) or does it haunt the soldiers dreams, knowing they're just feed for a monster?
